Analisis Faktor – Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Ketersediaan Beras di Kabupaten Mandailing Natal

Abstract

The objective of the research was to analyze the correlation of the harvest area, productivity, price, the amount consumption of rice with the availability of rice in Mandailing Natal District. The data consisted of secondary data which were gathered from 1999 to 2012 for the variables of harvest area, productivity, price, and the amount of consumption of rice. The data were analyzed by using Rank Spearman correlation method. The result of the research showed that harvest area had positive and significant correlation with the availability of rice. Productivity had positive and significant correlation with the availability of rice. Rice price had negative and significant correlation with the availability of rice. The amount of rice consumption had negative and significant correlation with the availability of rice.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan luas panen, produktivitas, harga beras, dan jumlah konsumsi beras dengan ketersediaan beras di Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder runtun waktu mulai tahun 1999 sampai dengan tahun 2012 untuk variabel luas panen, produktivitas, harga beras dan jumlah konsumsi beras. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis dilakukan dengan metode korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil estimasi diperoleh luas panen mempunyai hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan ketersediaan beras. Produktivitas mempunyai hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan ketersediaan beras. Harga beras mempunyai hubungan negatif dan signifikan dengan ketersediaan beras. Jumlah konsumsi beras mempunyai hubungan negatif dan signifikan dengan ketersediaan beras.
