Analisis Kunjungan Balita ke Posyandu di Kecamatan Sei Balai Kabupaten Batu Bara Tahun 2012

Abstract

cOne of the form of community participation in health effort is the active visit of mothers taking their children under five years old to the posyandu. The mothers visit to the posyandu taking their children under five years old is very much supportive in achieving the improvement of health of the children as one of the objectives of the posyandu. The purpose of this survey study with cross sectional approach was to analyze the influence of attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control trough the intention on the visit of children under five years old to the posyandu in Sei Balai Subdistrict. The population of this study was 2940 mothers with children of 0-59 months registred at Puskesmas Sei Balai, and 137 of mothers were selected to be the samples for this study through simple random sampling technique. The data obtained were analyzed through path analysis. The result of this study showed that of the 4 (four) independent variables, intention (p=0.001) was variable with the influence of 52,9% on the visit of the mothers of children under five years old to the posyandu, and the remaining 47,1% were influenced by the other factors. The management of Batu Bara District Health Office is suggested to increase number of visit of the mothers with children under five years old to posyandu through the activation of posyandu activities and socialization of its benefit to the mothers that so the community are interested in visiting the posyandu

Salah satu bentuk peran serta masyakat terhadap upaya kesehatan adalah keaktifan kunjungan ibu membawa balita ke posyandu. Kunjungan ibu di posyandu dengan membawa balita sangat mendukung tercapainya salah satu tujuan posyandu yaitu meningkatkan kesehatan balita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sikap, norma subjektif perceived behavior control, melalui intensi terhadap kunjungan balita ke posyandu di Kecamatan Sei Balai Kabupaten Batu Bara. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat survei dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi adalah ibu yang mempunyai balita yang berusia 0-59 bulan yang terdaftar dalam catatan Puskesmas Sei Balai sebanyak 2940 orang ibu. Sampel berjumlah 137 orang yang diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari empat variabel sebagai variabel bebas maka variabel intensi yang berpengaruh terhadap kunjungan ibu balita ke posyandu (P=0,001) dengan besaran pengaruh 52,9% dan sisanya 47,1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain seperti pendidikan, pendapatan, pekerjaan, umur balita, jumlah anak dan pengetahuan yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian. Dari hasil penelitian disarankan kepada Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Batu Bara untuk melakukan upaya peningkatan kunjungan balita melalui pengaktifan kegiatan posyandu dan mensosialisasikan manfaatnya kepada ibu-ibu sehingga menimbulkan minat masyarakat mengunjungi posyandu.
