dc.description.abstract | Increased institution performance is really needed by colleges in order to enhance its competitiveness ability. In order to the institution performance measurement well, we need to design performance measurement model which is able to measure the effectiveness and the efficiency of all activities in the college. That are some factors that affect and bring impact to the college performance. That factors are lecturer competence, student learning ability, facilities support, alumni support, financial support, academic administration, promotions, and learning process.
This research design performance measurement model at STMIK IBBI Medan using QMPMS method. The data is obtained from spreading the questionnaire to 298 college students. Statistic approach that are used is Structural Equation Modeling approach by using SPPS Amos program version 18 in data processing.
This research’s result showed that lecturer competence (0,413), student learning ability (0,347), facilities support (1,102), alumni support (0,345), academic administration (0,249), learning process (0,822) are directly affected the institution performance. Meanwhile, lecturer competence is also indirectly affected the institution performance through learning process.
The design of STMIK IBBI Medan’s performance measurement model successfully identified 38 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), which are 9 KPIs of lecturer competence criteria, 8 KPIs of student learning ability criteria, 7 KPIs of faceilities support criteria, 2 KPIs of Alumni support criteria, 3 KPIs of academic administration, and 9 KPIs of learning process criteria. There are hirarchy model and matrix model for performance measurement based on student perceptions. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Kinerja institusi yang meningkat sangat dibutuhkan oleh perguruan tinggi dalam rangka meningkatkan daya saing. Agar dapat mengukur kinerja institusi dengan baik maka sebaiknya dirancang model pengukuran kinerja yang mampu mengukur efektivitas dan efisiensi dari setiap aktivitas/kegiatan yang dilakukan. Ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi dan berdampak pada kinerja institusi perguruan tinggi, antara lain yaitu kompetensi dosen, learning ability mahasiswa, dukungan fasilitas, dukungan alumni, dukungan finansial, administrasi akademik, promosi, dan proses pembelajaran.
Penelitian ini merancang model pengukuran kinerja di STMIK IBBI Medan dengan menggunakan metode Quantitave Models for Performance Measurement System (QMPMS). Data penelitian diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner terhadap 298 mahasiswa. Pendekatan statistik yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS AMOS versi 18 dalam pengolahan datanya.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi dosen (0,413), learning ability mahasiswa (0,347), dukungan fasilitas (1,102), dukungan alumni (0,345), administrasi akademik (0,249), dan proses pembelajaran (0,822) berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja institusi. Sedangkan, kompetensi dosen juga berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kinerja institusi melalui proses pembelajaran.
Perancangan model pengukuran kinerja STMIK IBBI Medan berhasil diidentifikasi 38 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), yaitu 9 KPI kriteria kompetensi dosen, 8 KPI kriteria learning ability mahasiswa, 7 KPI kriteria dukungan fasilitas, 2 KPI kriteria dukungan alumni, 3 KPI kriteria administrai akademi, dan 9 KPI kriteria proses pembelajaran.
