    Analisis Penggunaan Kitosan dan Kitosan Manik Sebagai Adsorben Untuk Menurunkan Kadar Larutan Standar Besi(Fe) dan Aluminium (Al) dengan Metode Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom

    Abstract
    The research about using chitosan and chitosan beads as and adsorbent for ferum (Fe) and aluminium (Al) solution standard was conducted .This process is based on the binding of metals ions through biopolymer in from of various group such as amino and hydroxyl groups in chitosan and the carboxyl group in alginate. System adsorbent using by the method of Batch that is sample to be analysed so reseached balance treatment.Each treatmen of the sample measured by quantitative analysis with using atomic absorbtion spectrofotometry.for consentration of ferum (Fe) solvent standard 3 ppm the capasity of chitosan in metal ion Fe adsorbtion was 84,2% and Al 6 ppm was 83,2 % which was achieved using optimum contac time of 30 minutes.Further chitosan beads 6% (b/v) for Fe solvent standard 3 ppm the capasity of chitosan beads for metal ion Fe adsorbtion was 99,8% and Al 6 ppm 99,6%.
     
    Penelitian tentang penggunaan kitosan dan kitosan manik sebagai penyerap pada larutan standar besi(Fe) dan aluminium(Al) telah dilakukan.Proses adsorbsi kitosan adalah berdasakan pada pengikatan ion logam melalui biopolymer dalam berbagai gugus fungsional seperti gugus amino dan hidroksil dalam kitosan dan gugus karboksil dalam alginat. Sistem adsorbsi yang digunakan adalah cara Batch yaitu sampel yang dianalisis diaduk bersama jenis adsorben yaitu kitosan dan kitosan manik 6%(b/v) dengan variasi waktu 0,10,20,30 dan 40 menit.Selanjutnya adsorbsi dibiarkan sampai mencapai kesetimbangan,masing-masing perlakuan diukur scara analisis kuantitatif dengan metode spektrofotometri serapan atom .Untuk larutan standar Fe 3 ppm daya serap kitosan sebesar 84,2% dan Al 6 ppm sebesar 83,2% tercapai pada waktu 30 menit sedangkan untu kitosan manik sebesar 99,8% dan Al 6 ppm sebesar 99,6%.
