Research entitled North Sumatera Inflation Analysis is to identify factors that influence inflation in North Sumatera. This research used secondary data, which is then analyzed using Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. Using time series data from 1980 until 2000 finds, this research found that inflation in North Sumatera is influenced by government expenditures, investments, credit issued by commercial banks, net exports, exchange rates and public expectations. From those variables, government expenditures (X1), credit issued by commercial banks (X3), net exports (X4), and exchange rates (X5) are statistically significant to the inflation changes in North Sumatera. Conversely investment (X2) and the previous inflation are statistically insignificant.en_US
