dc.description.abstractAn examination has been done on par ticle board made from oil palm wood fi bre which was reacted with un saturated polyester, Yukalac 157 BQTN – EX using me poxe catalyst. Characterization and analysis which have been done, showed that mechanical character of the power of the strain/stress can be obtained best in the mixture of 1 : 3 between palm oil wood fibre and polyester, this result of the strain/stress was also very good at the height of the 3 meters with the value of 17,10 kgf. The result of the examination also showed group oil palm trunk changing especially at length of the wave, 1733,67 cm -1 which showed that there had been a reaction between palm oil wood fibre with unsaturated Y ukalac 157 BQTN – Ex with mepoxe catalyst. From a thermal test, got a very significant improvement which reached 420°C and scanning electron microscope on optimum mechanical character, got homogenous morphology character with a very close poreen_US
dc.description.abstractTelah dilakukan penelitian papan partikel dari serbuk kayu kelapa sawi t yang direaksikan dengan polyester tak jenuh yukalac 157 BQTN -EX menggunakan katalis mepoxe. Karakterisasi dan analisa yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa sifat mekanik kekuatan tegangan diperoleh optimum pada campuran 1 : 3 antara serbuk kayu kelapa sawit dan polyester, kekuatan tegangan ini juga sangat baik pada ketinggian 3 meter dari permukaan tanah bahagian pinggir dengan nilai 17,10 kgf. Hasil uji FT-IR juga telah menunjukkan perubahan gugus terutama pada panjang gelombang 1733,67 Cm - menunjukkan telah terjadi reaksi serbuk kayu kelapa sawit dengan polyester tak jenuh Yukalac 157 BQTN -EX dengan katalis mepoxe, Uji termal diperoleh peningkatan yang sangat signifikan hingga mencapai 420 0C dan Scanning mikroskop elektron menunjukkan pada sifat mekanik opti mum, telah didapat sifat morfologi yang homogen dengan pori -pori yang sangat rapat.en_US
