Analisis Peran Sektor Industri Wilayah Medan Bagian Utara terhadap Perekonomian Kota Medan

Abstract

Potential Medan Northern region is significant in Medan City economy can affect the welfare of the community, this is due to the industrial sector and the processing can provide employment opportunities in the field of Northern. Industrial sector's contribution to GDP Medan District of the Northern region experienced a downward trend during the period 2006-2010. The growth rate of the industrial sector districts in Medan Northern experiencing a trend up and down over the period 2006-2010. The experiment was conducted in the Medan northern region on the analysis of the role of the industrial sector on the economy of the Medan City. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The result showed that the contribution of industrial sector GDP and GDP in the Medan northern region in formation GDP Medan City shows that Medan northern region has the potential in the economy of Medan City. It is evident from the considerable contribution of GDP of this region in GDP formation Medan City. The role of industrial sector of Medan Northern region in the economy of Medan City can be prioritized in the district of Medan Deli, Medan Labuhan, and Medan Marelan. This is due to a basic sector which has a pretty good economic power and influence on the increase in economic growth in the Medan Northern region. The influence of the industrial sector of Medan Northern region give impact on the economy of the Medan City, where the contribution of the industrial sector Medan Deli, Medan Labuhan and Medan Marelan positive effect while the contribution of the industrial sector Medan Belawan negative effect on the industrial sector's contribution Medan City.

Potensi wilayah Medan Bagian Utara yang cukup besar dalam perekonomian Kota Medan dapat berpengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat, hal ini disebabkan sektor industri dan pengolahan dapat memberikan peluang penyerapan tenaga kerja di wilayah Medan Bagian Utara. Kontribusi sektor industri terhadap PDRB Kecamatan wilayah Medan Bagian Utara mengalami trend penurunan selama periode tahun 2006-2010. Laju pertumbuhan sektor industri kecamatan di wilayah Medan Bagian Utara mengalami trend naik turun selama periode tahun 2006-2010. Penelitian dilaksanakan di wilayah Medan bagian utara tentang analisis peran sektor industri terhadap perekonomian Kota Medan. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kontribusi PDRB sektor industri dan PDRB wilayah Medan Bagian Utara dalam pembentukan PDRB Kota Medan menunjukkan bahwa wilayah Medan Bagian Utara memiliki potensi dalam perekonomian Kota Medan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari cukup besarnya sumbangan PDRB wilayah ini dalam pembentukan PDRB Kota Medan. Peran sektor industri wilayah Medan Bagian Utara dalam perekonomian Kota Medan dapat diprioritaskan di Kecamatan Medan Deli, Medan Labuhan, dan Medan Marelan. Hal ini disebabkan merupakan sektor basis yang memiliki kekuatan ekonomi yang cukup baik dan sangat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi wilayah Medan Bagian Utara. Pengaruh sektor industri wilayah Medan Bagian Utara memberi dampak pada perekonomian Kota Medan, dimana kontribusi sektor industri Medan Deli, Medan Labuhan dan Medan Marelan berpengaruh positif sedangkan kontribusi sektor industri Medan Belawan berpengaruh negatif terhadap kontribusi sektor industri Kota Medan..
