    Pengaruh Jarak Kandang Ternak, Konstruksi Sumur Gali, Profil Tanah dan Karakteristik Penggunaan Air terhadap Keberadaan Total Coliform pada air sumur gali di desa klambir, Kecamatan Hamparan Perak Tahun 2016

    Abstract
    A dig well is the facility of water supply which is easily polluted from outside. The people at Klambir village use dig wells as clean water source. The objective of the research was to analyze the influence of the distance of animal pens and the construction of dig wells on the existence of Total Coliform in the water of dig wells at Klambir village, Hamparan Perak Subdistrict. The research used observasional analytic with cross sectional design. The sample were taken by using simple random sampling technique. The data were gathered by conducting observation, interviews, and laboratory examination and analyzed by using chi square test and multiple logistic regression analysis at α =5%. The result of the research showed that there was significant correlation of the distance of animal pens, dig well construction, the number of polluting points, activity, and the frequency of pumping with the existence of coliform. There was no significant correlation of soil porosity, soil permeability, and soil texture with the existence of coliform. The result of multiple logistic correlation with Total Coliform in the dig well water was the distance of animal pens and dig well construction. It is recommended that the people at Klambir village build animal pens with the distance of ≥ 10 meters from water source.
     
    Sumur gali merupakan sarana penyedia air yang mudah mengalami pencemaran yang berasal dari luar. Masyarakat Desa Klambir menggunakan sumur gali sebagai sumber air bersih. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh jarak kandang ternak dan konstruksi sumur gali terhadap keberadaan Total Coliform pada air sumur gali di Desa Klambir Kecamatan Hamparan Perak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan desain cross sectional. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel secara simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan pemeriksaan laboratorium. Analisis menggunakan uji chi-square dan regresi logistik berganda pada alpha 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan yang bermakna pada jarak kandang dengan nilai, konstruksi sumur, jumlah titik pencemar, dan aktivitas, frekuensi pemompaan dan tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang bermakna pada porositas tanah, permeabilitas tanah serta tekstur tanah. Hasil uji regresi logistik berganda diketahui bahwa variabel yang paling dominan terhadap Total Coliform air sumur gali adalah jarak kandang dan konstruksi sumur. Kepada masyarakat di Desa Klambir agar menempatkan kandang ternak dengan jarak ≥ 10 m dari sumber air.
