Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Cadangan Devisa di Indonesia

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of non oil & gas nett export, exchange rate and interest rate to reserve asset of Indonesia. Data employed is time series data in the period 1985-2004. Data sources are Central Bank of Indonesia and Indonesia Statistical Base on the analysis used Ordering Least Square (OLS). Based the estimation, the result shows that reserve asset of Indonesia is concurrently affected by exchange rate, interest rate and non oil & gas nett export value variables by 90.12%. Shifts in reserve asset is significantly affected by those variables on 99% validity level. Rupiah exchange rate positively affects reserve asset. This means that reserve asset of Indonesia will increase in concurrent with the stable increase of exchange rate. Reserve asset of Indonesia is significantly affected by stability of rupiah exchange rate, SBI and non oil & gas export value.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ekspor netto non migas, kurs mata uang dan tingkat suku bunga terhadap cadangan devisa Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan data sekunder time series, 1985 - 2004 dari Bank Indonesia dan Badan Pusat Statistik. Metode estimasi dilakukan dengan Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa cadangan devisa Indonesia dipengaruhi secara bersama oleh variabel kurs rupiah, suku bunga, dan nilai ekspor netto non migas sebesar 90,12%. Perubahan cadangan devisa dipengaruhi oleh variable tersebut secara signifikan pada tingkat kepercayaan 99%. Kurs rupiah berpengaruh positif terhadap cadangan devisa. Hal ini berarti bahwa cadangan devisa Indonesia akan meningkat dengan meningkatnya nilai kurs secara stabil. Cadangan devisa dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh nilai stabilitas kurs rupiah, SBI, nilai ekspor netto non migas.
