Analisis Pengaruh Arus Modal Asing terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Negara-Negara Islam

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh arus modal asing terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di 44 negara Islam dengan menggunakan data panel. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji Hausman dalam memilih model terbaik untuk metode General Least Square (GLS) dan hasil uji tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Random Effects Model (REM) yang digunakan dalam menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi dinegara-negara Islam. Berdasarkan hasil estimasi tersebut bahwa variabel investasi asing langsung (FDI) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dinegaranegara Islam. Sedangkan variabel bantuan luar negeri (AID), tabungan domestik kotor (GDS) dan angkatan kerja (AK) berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dinegara-negara Islam.

The object of this research is to analyze the influence of the foreign capital flow to the economic growth at 44 Islamic countries using panel data. The research is examined with Housman test in order to select the best model for Generalized Least Square (GLS). The result of the test show Random Effects Model (REM) used to analyze the factors that influences the economic growth is Islamic countries. Based on the estimation the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) influences significantly the economics growth, while foreign aid variable, Gross Domestic Saving (GDS) and Labor force have positive sign but insignificant economics growth.
