Hotel dan Mall Elektronik Kota Lhokseumawe

Abstract

Lhokseumawe city, Aceh, in the elevation of 2 – 24 meter on above sea level has the area of 181.06 km3 that consists of 4 sub-districts, i.e. sub district of Blang Mangat in the area of 56.12 km2, sub district of Muara in the area of 57.80 km2, sub district of Muara Satu in the area of 55.90 km2 and sub district of Banda Sakti in the area of 11.24 km2. These sub districts is consist of 9 settlement area and 69 rural village/gampong. The border of this area is on the northern side border on Malacca street, in the Southern side border on Regency of Aceh Utara (sub-district of Kuta Makmur), in the western side border on regency of Aceh Utara (sub-district of Dewantara) and in the eastern side border on Regency of Aceh Utara (sub district of Syamtalira Bayu). The urban economic of Lhokseumawe directed to the sectors of commerce, hotel and restaurant. This sector is increase from year to year. The demand on hotal in Lhokseumawe city is higher, because Lhokseumawe city is transit city between Medan and Banda Aceh. In addition, the civil servant and private who take work in Lhokseumawe city always find the lodging during in assignment, because the employee are comes from other area of Lhokseumawe city. In addition, commerce sector is increase by hotel sector. One of commerce sector with the higher demand is electronic sector. Therefore there are electronic shop will build in each year in order to satisfy the demand of the people or consumer in Lhokseumawe. Based on aforementioned description, the writer suggest the design and planning of hotel as main building and Electronic Mall of Lhokseumawe city as support building.

Kota Lhokseumawe, Aceh, dengan ketinggian 2-24 meter diatas permukaan laut memiliki luas wilayah 181,06 Km² yang dibagi dalam 4 kecamatan yaitu Kecamatan Blang Mangat dengan luas wilayah 56,12 Km², Kecamatan Muara Dua luas wilayah 57,80 Km², Kecamatan Muara Satu luas wilayah 55,90 Km² dan Kecamatan Banda Sakti luas wilayah 11,24 Km². Keempat kecamatan ini terdiri dari 9 kemukiman dan 68 desa/gampong. Adapun batas-batas daerah yaitu: sebelah Utara berbatasan dengan Selat Malaka, sebelah Selatan berbatasan dengan Kabupaten Aceh Utara (Kecamatan Kuta Makmur), sebelah Barat berbatasan dengan Kabupaten Aceh Utara (Kecamatan Dewantara) dan sebelah Timur berbatasan dengaan Kabupaten Aceh Utara (Kecamatan Syamtalira Bayu). Perekonomian Kota Lhokseumawe mengarah pada sektor Perdagangan, Hotel dan Restoran. Sektor ini semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Tingkat permintaan penginapan di Kota Lhokseumawe juga terbilang tinggi, karena Kota Lhokseumawe merupakan Kota transit antara Medan dan Banda Aceh. Selain itu, karyawan negeri dan swasta yang bekerja di Kota Lhokseumawe sering mencari penginapan ketika dalam masa penugasan, mengingat karyawan-karyawan tersebut berasal dari luar Kota Lhokseumawe. Di samping itu, sektor Perdagangan juga tidak kalah meningkat dengan sektor Perhotelan. Salah satu sektor Perdagangan yang tinggi permintaannya adalah Perdagangan Elektronik. Maka, muncullah toko-toko elektronik yang setiap tahunnya selalu bertambah, demi memenuhi permintaan masyarakat Lhokseumawe. Berdasarkan ulasan di atas, penulis mengusulkan Perencanaan dan Perancangan Hotel sebagai bangunan utama dan Mall Elektronik Kota Lhokseumawe sebagai bangunan penunjang.
