    Hubungan Kadar Kadmium (Cd) pada Air Sumur dengan Tekanan Darah Masyarakat di Desa Namo Bintang Kabupaten Deli Serdang Tahun 2016

    Abstract
    Cadmium is a heavy metal which is toxic to human beings; when it is consumed and enters in the to body, it will accumulate in kidney so that kidney will damage and cannot work maximally and will eventually change the arrangement off blood volume. Therefore, it is feared that well waterwhich used as drinking water in the area of dump station of Namo Bintang is polluted by alkaline water containing cadmium wich willhave the impact on the community blood pressure. The research objective was to analyze the relationship between cadmium levels in the well water with blood pressure of community in Namo Bintang Deli Serdang This research was an observational analytic study with cross sectional design. The data were gathered by conducting interviews, questionnaires to get complete and detailed information, laboratory assay to find out cadmium in well water, and blood pressure test on 96 respondents, taken by using stratified random sampling technique. The research results showed there only age variable based on characteristics associated with blood pressure. While based on the exposure to cadmium in water is only the amount of wells water intake associated with blood pressure. Multivariate analysis showed that the most dominant variable associated with both systolic blood pressure and diastolic is the amount of water intake wells where setap addition of 1 liter of water intake wells increase in systolic blood pressure of 10.62 mm Hg and diastolic blood pressure by 6.27 mmHg It is recommended that people no use well water as drinking water but replace it with buy drinking water in depot drinking water they should use it for washing clothes, bathing, defecating, and so on.
     
    Kadmium adalah logam berat yang bersifat toksik terhadap manusia yang berpengaruh pada kerusakan dan ketidakmaksimalan kerja ginjal, sehingga terjadi perubahan pengaturan volume darah. Sehubungan dengan itu dikhawatirkan air sumur yang dikonsumsi masyarakat di daerah TPA Namo Bintang tercemar kadmium dari air lindi kemudian berdampak pada tekanan darah masyarakat tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar kadmium pada air sumur terhadap tekanan darah masyarakat desa Namo Bintang Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Penelitian ini merupakan studi analitik observasional dengan jenis crosssectional dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner, pemeriksaan laboratorium untuk mengetahui kadar kadmium air sumur dan pemeriksaan tekanan darah terhadap 96 responden menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berdasarkan karakteristik hanya variabel usia yang berhubungan dengan tekanan darah. Sedangkan berdasarkan paparan kadmium pada air hanya jumlah asupan air sumur yang berhubungan dengan tekanan darah. Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang paling dominan berhubungan dengan tekanan darah baik sistolik maupun diastolik adalah jumlah asupan air sumur dimana setap penambahan 1 liter jumlah asupan air sumur meningkatkan tekanan darah sistolik sebesar 10,62 mmHg dan tekanan darah diastolik sebesar 6,27 mmHg. Dianjurkan kepada masyarakat agar tidak menggunakan air sumur sebagai sumber air minum yaitu menggantinya dengan membeli air minum di depot air minum, tetapi warga masih diperbolehkan memanfaatkan air sumur untuk keperluan air bersih misalnya untuk mencuci pakaian, mandi, buang air besar dan lain lain
