dc.description.abstractA research about encapsulation vitamin E PFAD on gum acasia and galaktomanan kolang-kaling has done by using spray drying method. The galaktomanan extraction of kolang-kaling is resulted 4.7%. In the initial preparation is done the manufacture of film the mixture of galaktomanan kolang-kaling (GKK), gum acasia (GA) and vitamin E PFAD with GKK variations 0.1 grams; 0.2 grams; 0.3 grams; 0.4 grams, GA 7 grams and 1.3 grams of vitamin E PFAD in a total volume of 100 mL. The thick film is resulted from 0.600 to 0.780 mm, the mixture of most compatible film is in comparison GKK : GA : vitamin E PFAD of 0.2 : 7 : 1.3 to 100 mL. This comparison is used in vitamin E PFAD encapsulation process by spray drying method. The results obtained enkapsulation micro size with a diameter of 11-16 micron. GKK additions in the mixture will increase the percentage yield of microencapsulation of vit. E from 53.15% (GA) to 64.09% (GA:GKK). Increasing the oil content from 61.83% (GA), 62.44% (GA:GKK). Increasing the percentage of vitamin E composition which was adsorbed 53.29% (GA), 53.76% (GA:GKK) after spray drying. 49.23% (GA), 49.72% (GA:GKK) after 24 hours of 600C. 37.95% (GA), 39.53% (GA: GKK) after 48 hours of 600C. The increasing of oxidation stability by decreasing the value of p-Anisidin 25.21 (GA), 16.17 (GA: GKK) after spray drying. 36.48 (GA), 29.63 (GA:GKK) after 24 hours of 600C. 47.52 (GA), 34.68 (GA:GKK) after 48 hours of 600C. The low moisture is 3.40% (GA) and 3.08% (GA:GKK). The addition of GKK on the mixing of formula provides good effect.en_US
dc.description.abstractTelah dilakukan penelitian tentang enkapsulasi vitamin E PFAD pada gum acasia dan galaktomanan kolang-kaling dengan metode spray drying. Ekstraksi galaktomanan dari kolang-kaling diperoleh sebesar 4,7%. Pada preparasi awal dilakukan pembuatan film antara campuran galaktomanan kolang-kaling (GKK), gum acasia (GA) dan vitamin E PFAD dengan variasi GKK 0,1 gram ; 0,2 gram; 0,3 gram ; 0,4 gram, GA 7 gram dan vitamin E PFAD 1,3 gram dalam volume total 100 mL. Tebal film yang diperoleh 0,600 – 0,780 mm, campuran film yang paling kompatibel adalah pada perbandingan GKK : GA : vitamin E PFAD sebesar 0,2 : 7 : 1,3 dalam 100 mL. Perbandingan ini digunakan pada proses enkapsulasi vitamin E PFAD dengan metode spray drying. Hasil enkapsulan yang diperoleh berukuran mikro dengan diameter 11-16 micron. Penambahan GKK pada campuran akan meningkatkan persentase rendemen mikroenkapsulan vit. E dari 53,15% (GA) menjadi 64,09% (GA:GKK). Meningkatkan kandungan minyak dari 61,83% (GA), 62,44% (GA:GKK). Meningkatkan persentase kandungan vitamin E yang teradsorbsi 53,29% (GA), 53,76% (GA:GKK) setelah spray drying. 49.23% (GA), 49,72% (GA:GKK) setelah 24 jam 600C. 37,95% (GA), 39,53% (GA:GKK) setelah 48 jam 600C. Peningkatan kestabilan oksidasi dengan menurunnya nilai p-Anisidin 25,21 (GA), 16,17 (GA:GKK) setelah spray drying. 36,48 (GA), 29,63 (GA:GKK) setelah 24 jam 600C. 47,52 (GA), 34,68 (GA:GKK) setelah 48 jam 600C. Rendahnya kadar air 3,40% (GA) dan 3,08% (GA:GKK). Penamabahan GKK pada formula campuran memberikan pengaruh yang baik.en_US
