    Biodegradasi Vulkanisat Produk Lateks Karet Alam Berpengisi Tepung Kulit Singkong dengan Penyerasi Alkanolamida

    Abstract
    Peel cassava powder used as filler in natural rubber latex products. Peel cassava powder was made into dispersion system alkanolamine. Natural rubber latex is mixed with the curatives and peel cassava powder as filler for compounding the latex compound. Prevulcanised latex compound at a temperature of 70 °C and the dipping process was done. Dipping process was performed by the method of dipping samples and dried at vulcanized temperature at 100 ºC and 120 ºC for 20 minutes. Results indicated that the NR latex films showed to morphological analysis test using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Tensile strength test using a test tensometer properties of 19.983 MPa, breaking elongation properties of 1004.74 %, crosslink density properties of 7.993 (Mc-1 x 10+5 Keywords: alkanolamine, cassava flour skin, mechanical properties, biodegradability g mol/g rubber) and the process of biodegradation is carried by hanging samples in the air and soil burial test without fertilizer and with NPK fertilizer for 14 weeks. Product NR latex films showed an obvious increment of weight loss percentages after buried for 14 weeks compared to the without fillers. From the characteristics of FT-IR showed that the group hikroksida (O-H), carbonyl (C-O) and ester (COOH) is a group - the group is hydrophilic which indicates that the product is modification natural rubber latex, is able to degradation both the environment.
     
    Tepung kulit singkong digunakan sebagai pengisi dalam produk lateks karet alam. Tepung kulit singkong dibuat ke dalam sistem dispersi alkanolamida. Lateks karet alam dicampur dengan kuratif dan tepung kulit singkong sebagai pengisi untuk persenyawaan kompon lateks. Pra-vulkanisasi pada suhu 70 o C dengan proses pencelupan. Proses pencelupan dilakukan dengan metode mencelupkan sampel dan dikeringkan pada suhu 100 o C dan 120 o C selama 20 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa NR film lateks menunjukkan analisis morfologi yang menggunakan Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), kekuatan tarik menggunakan tensiometer sebesar 19,983 MPa, pemanjangan saat putus sebesar 1.004,74 %, densitas sambung silang 7,993 Mc-1 x 10+5 g mol/g karet dan proses biodegradasi dilakukan dengan menggantung sampel di udara dan ditanam dalam tanah tanpa pemupukan dan dengan pemupukan NPK selama 14 minggu. Produk lateks karet alam menunjukkan peningkatan persentase penurunan berat yang hilang setelah dikuburkan selama 14 minggu dibandingkan dengan tanpa pengisi. Dari karakteristik FT-IR menunjukkan bahwa adanya gugus hikroksida (O-H), gugus karbonil (C-O) dan ester (COOH) merupakan gugus – gugus yang bersifat hidrofilik yang menandakan bahwa produk lateks karet alam termodifikasi, mampu terdegradasi dengan baik di lingkungan.
