dc.description.abstractMusfal.067002003. Vesicle Arbuscule Mycorhizal (VAM) effectivity by the maize specific location fertilizers application in Inceptisol soil. Based of this research is the low yield of maize in the farmers, because of the anequivalence of the fertilizer application. The goal of this research is to know VAM effectivity and level of requirement in spesific location fertilizers application to the growth, nutrient absorption and the maize yield at the soil Inceptisol in Tiga Binanga, Karo, North Sumatera. VAM hypothesis can increase the effectivity of fertilizer application, nutrient absorption of N, P, K, and maize yield. The research was done in Rumah Kasa Kebun Percobaan Pasar Miring, Pagar Merbau Subdistrict, Deli Serang Regency, North Sumatera since October 2007 to February 2008. The tested applications content of two factors and three repetitions. The first factor contents of five VAM applications (0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 g pot -1) and the second factor contents of five requirements of recomendation in spesific location fertilizer application in Tiga Binanga (0, 25, 50, 75 and 100 %). The spesific location maize fertilizer requirement in Tiga Binanga is 160 : 128 : 160 kg ha-1 , Urea : SP-36 : KCl. The component variables : the effect chemical of soil before application, the effect chemical of soil after application, the infection level of VAM, the biomass weight of plant, nutrient absorption of N, P, K, the grain yield, relation between NPK nutrient absorption and the grain yield, and also agronomy efficiency. Parameter was analysed by factorial with Irristat program and DMRT continue test. Simple regration analysis used Excel program. N soil that was used before research was very low. P and K were high. Combination VAM and fertilizer can increase N, P and K soil and the biomass weight of plant, nutrient absorption N, P, K, the infection level of VAM and the grain yield. Fertilizer application were: 160 : 128 : 160 kg ha-1 Urea : SP-36 : KCl (100% recommendation) produces 100.29 g bar-1 and by adding 20g pot-1 VAM can increase grain yield become153.22 g bar-1 and be highest compare with the other applications. The second highest yield followed by fertilizer application 120:96:120 kg ha-1 Urea: SP-36:KCl (75 % recommendation) and 15 gVAM bar-1. VAM effectivity in fertilizer efficiency is in 75 % fertilizer application (120 : 96 : 120 kg ha-1 Urea : SP-36 : KCl) plus 5 g pot-1 VAM which in this combination can produced 113.47 g grain myield and 13.18 g more higher compared with 100% fertilizer. From the respon curve can be suggested that fertilizer application in Tiga Binanga about 75 % fertilizer (120 : 96 : 120 kg ha-1 Urea: SP-36 : KCl) and plus 15 g VAM bar-1.en_US
dc.description.abstractMusfal.067002003. Efektifitas Cendawan Mikoriza Arbuskula (CMA) terhadap Pemberian Pupuk Spesifik Lokasi Tanaman Jagung pada Tanah Inceptisol. Latar belakang penelitian adalah masih rendahnya hasil tanaman jagung ditingkat petani, karena pemberian pupuk yang tak seimbang. Tujuan penelitian untuk melihat efektifitas CMA dan tingkat rekomendasi pemberian pupuk spesifik lokasi terhadap pertumbuhan, serapan hara dan hasil tanaman jagung di tanah Inceptisol Tiga Binanga, Kabupaten Karo Sumatera Utara. Hipotesis CMA dapat meningkatkan efektifitas penggunaan pupuk,meningkatkan serapan hara N, P dan K serta hasil tanaman jagung. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Rumah Kasa Kebun Percobaan Pasar Miring, Kecamatan Pagar Marbau, Kabupaten Deli Serdang Propinsi Sumatera Utara, sejak bulan Oktober 2007 hingga Pebruari 2008. Perlakuan yang diuji terdiri dari dua faktor dan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama terdiri dari 5 taraf pemberian CMA (0, 5, 10, 15 dan 20 g pot-1) dan Faktor kedua 5 tingkat rekomendasi pemberian pupuk spesifik lokasi Tiga Binanga (0, 25, 50, 75, dan 100%). Rekomendasi pupuk tanaman jagung spesifik lokasi Tiga Binanga adalah 160:128:160 kg ha-1 Urea:SP-36:KCl. Peubah yang diamati : sifat kimia tanah sebelum perlakuan, sifat kimia tanah setelah perlakuan, derajat infeksi CMA, bobot kering tanaman, serapan hara N,P,dan K, hasil pipilan kering jagung, hubungan serapan hara NPK dengan hasil pipilan kering jagung dan efisiensi agronomis. Peubah dinalisis secara faktorial dengan program Irristat dan uji lanjut DMRT. Analisis regresi sederhana dengan program Excel. Kandungan N pada tanah yang digunakan sebelum penelitian digolongkan sangat rendah, P dan K digolongkan tinggi. Pemberian CMA dan pupuk meningkatkan N, P dan K tanah serta Bobot kering tanaman, serapan hara N, P, K, derajat infeksi CMA dan hasil pipilan kering. Pemberian pupuk sebanyak 160:128:160 kg ha-1 Urea:SP-36:KCl (100% rekomendasi) menghasilkan biji pipilan kering sebanyak 100.29 g batang-1 dan dengan penambahan 20 g CMA pot-1 hasil pipilan kering meningkat hingga 153.22 g batang-1 dan tertinggi dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Hasil tertinggi kedua diikuti oleh pemberian pupuk sebanyak 120:96:120 kg ha-1 Urea:SP-36:KCl (75% rekomendasi) dan 15 g CMA batang-1. Efektifitas CMA dalam mengefisienkan penggunaan pupuk terlihat pada pemberian pupuk sebanyak 120:96:120 kg ha-1 Urea:SP-36:KCl (75% rekomendasi) ditambah dengan 5 g pot-1 CMA dimana pada kombinasi ini menghasilkan pipilan kering sebanyak 113.47 g batang-1 dan lebih tinggi 13.18 g dibandingkan pemberian 100% pupuk. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disarankan pemberian pupuk pada lokasi Tiga Binanga adalah sebanyak 120:96:120 kg ha-1 Urea:SP-36:KCl (75% rekomendasi) dan 15 g CMA batang-1.en_US
