    Rancang Bangun Alat Penentu Kematangan Buah Kelapa Sawit dan Waktu Panen Berdasarkan Warna Buah Berbasis Internet of Things (IoT)

    Abstract
    Kelapa sawit merupakan tumbuhan penghasil minyak nabati yang paling banyak dibudidayakan saat ini. Banyak manfaat yang dapat dipetik dari sebuah pohon kelapa sawit. Dalam proses budidayanya tentu ditemukan masalah- masalah, salah satu masalah yang sering dihadapi adalah bagaimana mengidentifikasi kematangan buah kelapa sawit bagi orang awam agar dapat diketahui dengan mudah tanpa melalui seorang ahli. Untuk itulah tujuan penulisan dan penelitian ini untuk menemukan solusi agar tingkat kematangan buah kelapa sawit dapat diketahui dengan mudah yaitu membuat sebuah alat bantu elektronik yang bekerja secara otomatis. Sensor warna TCS 3200 memiliki kemampuan mendeteksi warna dengan baik sehingga dapat mengenal dan mengidentifikasikan warna buah untuk mengethui tingkat kematangan buah kelapa sawit berdasarkan warnanya. Kontroler Arduino digunakan untuk membaca sensor, mengkalibrasikan data RGB dan mengidentifikasikan kematangan sesuai warnanya. Output kemudian ditampilkan pada LCD dan dikirim keuser melalui telegram. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu pengusaha kelapa sawit dalam mendeteksi kematangan buah tanpa harus dilakukan oleh orang yang berpengalaman.
     
    Oil palm is the most widely cultivated vegetable oil-producing plant today. There are many benefits that can be obtained from an oil palm tree. In the process of cultivation, problems are certainly found, one of the problems that are often faced is how to identify the maturity of oil palm fruit for ordinary people so that it can be known easily without going through an expert. For this reason, the purpose of this research is to find a solution so that the maturity level of oil palm fruit can be known easily, that is to make an electronic tool that works automatically. The TCS 3200 color sensor has the ability to detect color well so that it can recognize and identify the color of the fruit to determine the maturity level of oil palm fruit based on its color. Arduino controller has been used to read the sensors, calibrate RGB data and identify ripeness according to color. The output is then displayed on the LCD and sent to the user via telegram. From the results of this study, it is hoped that it can help oil palm entrepreneurs in detecting fruit maturity without having to be done by experienced people.
