    Strategi Pengembangan PT. Pos Indonesia (Studi Kasus: Kantor Pos Tanjung Morawa)

    Abstract
    PT. Pos Indonesia is a company that focuses on sending packages and documents around the world. Now we know that there are many courier and forwarding companies that provide delivery services, especially around the Tanjung Morawa Post Office, this causes the Tanjung Morawa Post Office to feel that they are in a safe zone and do not try to develop their business. This development effort requires a SWOT analysis for better business development, so that courier service users choose the Tanjung Morawa Post Office. The use of SWOT and QSPM can analyze internal and external factors, so that the company's development position is found to be in quadrant I, which is supporting an aggressive strategy. This shows the company is in a safe position and internal strengths are used to seize existing opportunities by increasing market share for both products and services, including through more vigorous promotional activities and improving service quality and increasing the number of fleets. The strength of the company helps in dealing with competitors that hinder its existence in serving consumers. Based on the results of the selected strategic priority QSPM with a Total Attractiveness Score of 19.45, where all company activities are computerized.
     
    PT. Pos Indonesia adalah perusahaan yang fokus pada pengiriman paket dan dokumen ke seluruh dunia. Sekarang kita tahu bahwa banyak perusahaan kurir dan forwarding yang melayani jasa pengiriman khususnya di sekitar Kantor Pos Tanjung Morawa, hal ini menyebabkan Kantor Pos Tanjung Morawa merasa berada di zona aman dan tidak berusaha melakukan pengembangan usaha. Upaya pengembangan ini memerlukan analisis SWOT untuk pengembangan usaha yang lebih baik, agar pengguna jasa kurir memilih Kantor Pos Tanjung Morawa. Penggunaan SWOT dan QSPM dapat menganalisis faktor Internal dan Eksternal, sehingga didapati posisi pengembangan perusahaan berada di kuadran I, yaitu mendukung strategi agresif. Hal ini menunjukkan perusahaan berada di posisi aman serta kekuatan internal yang di manfaatkan untuk merebut peluang yang ada dengan meningkatkan pangsa pasar baik dari produk ataupun jasa, diantaranya melalui kegiatan promosi yang lebih gencar dan meningkatkan mutu pelayanan serta menambah jumlah armada. Kekuatan yang dimiliki perusahaan membantu dalam menghadapi pesaing yang menghambat eksistensi dalam melayani para konsumen. Berdasarkan hasil QSPM prioritas strategi yang terpilih dengan Total Attractiveness Score 19.45 yaitu dimana semua kegiatan perusahaan terkomputerisasi.
