    Pemanfaatan Fly Ash sebagai Bahan Campuran Pembuatan Portland Pozzolan Cement (PPC) dengan Pembanding Original Portland Cement (OPC)

    Abstract
    This research aims to determine the effect of adding fly ash from coal combustion as a mixture in the manufacture of Portland Pozzolan Cement. The characterization of fly ash showed that the oxide content contained identical to that found in portland cement and contained hazardous metals. The material used in this research is fly ash waste from PT. SOCI MAS, gypsum, and clinker from PT. CEMINDO, and Original Portland Cement as a comparison for heavy metal content. The use of fly ash as a mixture is carried out with mass variations of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% of the weight of the cement used. The analysis parameters for cement were cement consistency, cement setting time, and heavy metal analysis using the TCLP test after solidification/stabilization. The best results using fly ash as a mixed material were obtained at a variation of 20% which resulted in a consistency value of 25.5%, the initial and final binding times were 240 and 365 minutes, respectively. The results of the analysis of heavy metals in each variation of fly ash showed that the levels of chromium, lead, copper, zinc, and arsenic were still below the quality standard so that they met the standard and were free of harmful metals that were safe for the environment.
     
    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan fly ash hasil pembakaran batubara sebagai bahan campuran pada pembuatan Portland Pozzolan Cement. Karakterisasi fly ash menunjukkan adanya kandungan oksida yang terkandung identik dengan yang ditemukan pada semen portland serta terdapat logam-logam berbahaya. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah limbah fly ash dari PT. SOCI MAS, gipsum dan clinker dari PT. CEMINDO, dan semen Original Portland Cement sebagai pembanding kandungan logam berat. Penggunaan fly ash sebagai bahan campuran dilakukan dengan variasi massa 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% dari berat kebutuhan semen yang digunakan. Parameter uji terhadap semen adalah konsistensi semen, waktu ikat semen, dan analisis logam berat dengan uji TCLP setelah dilakukannya solidifikasi/stabilisasi. Hasil terbaik penggunaan fly ash sebagai bahan campuran didapat pada variasi 20% yang menghasilkan nilai konsistensi sebesar 25,5%, waktu ikat awal dan akhir masing-masing selama 240 dan 365 menit. Hasil analisis logam berat pada tiap variasi fly ash menunjukkan bahwa kadar krom, timbal, tembaga, seng, dan arsen masih di bawah baku mutu sehingga memenuhi standar dan bebas logam berbahaya yang aman bagi lingkungan.
