dc.description.abstractPendahuluan: Perawatan ulang saluran akar dengan mengangkat bahan pengisian dari dalam saluran akar dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai macam metode perawatan non-bedah melalui teknik yang diantaranya menggunakan hand instrument atau instrumentasi manual, instrument pemanas, instrument ultrasonik, intrumentasi yang dikombinasikan dengan pelarut dan instrumentasi NiTi rotary. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelarut dan teknik irigasi terhadap kebersihan dinding saluran akar pada perawatan ulang saluran akar. Bahan dan cara: Penelitian ini menunjukkan dua puluh lima gigi premolar mandibula berakar tunggal yang diekstraksi dan dibagi menjadi lima kelompok (n=25). Gigi dipotong hingga batas semento enamel junction (CEJ). Saluran akar dibersihkan dan dipreparasi dengan file rotari One G (14/.03) dan One Curve (25/.06) (Micromega, Besancon, France), yaitu teknik crown down dan diobturasi dengan teknik single cone yang menggunakan gutta percha (25/.06) dan sealer berbasis biokeramik. Sampel dikelompokkan menjadi lima kelompok sesuai sistem yang digunakan unutuk mengangkat bahan pengisian saluran akar. Kelompok 1: pelarut eucalyptus oil + retreatment file + teknik irigasi PUI; Kelompok 2: pelarut eucalyptus oil + retreatment file + teknik irigasi Rotari Brush; Kelompok 3: pelarut orange oil + retreatment file + teknik irigasi PUI; Kelompok 4: pelarut orange oil + retreatment file + teknik irigasi Rotari Brush dan Kelompok kontrol: retreatment file + Irigasi. Bahan pengisian yang tersisa dinilai dengan stereomikroskop dan dinilai dengan software AUTOCAD. Hasil: Hasil uji ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan penggunaan pelarut dan teknik irigasi yang berbeda pada pembersihan sepertiga apikal saluran akar (p < 0.005).en_US
dc.description.abstractIntroduction: Retreatment of the root canal by removing filling material from root canal can be done with various methods of nonsurgical treatment through techniques that include using hands instruments or manual instrumentation, heating instruments, ultrasonic instruments, instrumentation combined with solvents and nichel titanium rotary instrumentation. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of solvent and irrigation techniques on the cleanliness of the root canal walls at endodontic retreatment Materials and methods: This study showed twenty-five extracted single rooted mandibular premolars were selected and divided into five groups (n= 25). Teeth were deconated at the cemento enamel junction (CEJ). The teeth were cleaned and shaped using rotary file oneG (14/.03) and oneCurve (25/.06) with a crown down technique to a size 25.06 and filled with gutta percha and bioceramic based sealer using single cone technique. Teeth was assigned into five group according to the system used for removing the root filling material Group 1 – Eucalyptus oil + Retreatment files + irrigation + PUI, Group 2 – Eucalyptus oil + Retreatment files + irrigation + Rotary brushes, Group 3– Orange oil + Retreatment files + irrigation + PUI, Group 4 – Orange oil + Retreatment files + irrigation + Rotary brushes, Group control – Retreatment file + irrigation. The amount of remaining filling material after the retreatment procedure was assessed utilizing a stereomicroscope and AUTOCAD software. Result: The Result of the ANOVA test showed that the solvent and irrigation techniques to cleaning the third apical of the root canal was significantly (P<0.05)en_US
