Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Partisipasi Wanita dalam Kegiatan Ekonomi Rumah Tangga Nelayan di Wilayah Pesisir Kota Medan

Abstract

Kehidupan rumah tangga nelayan yang sangat memprihatinkan dan terdorong kondisi ekonomi keluarga yang tidak menentu, tak jarang membuat wanita nelayan harus terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan produktif, yaitu mencari nafkah sebagai antisipasi jika suami mereka tidak memperoleh penghasilan. Tujuan penilitian untuk mengetahui bentuk partisipasi wanita dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi wanita dalam kegiatan ekonomi rumah tangga nelayan khususnya di kecamatan Medan Labuhan, Medan Marelan dan Medan Belawan. Penentuan daerah dilakukan secara purposive dengan pertimbangan karena daerah tersebut merupakan daerah yang memiliki potensi dalam produksi perikanan tangkap. Metode penentuan besar sampel ditentukan dengan rumus slovin dimana metode ini mengasumsikan populasi besar, dan sampel ditarik secara acak (simple random sampling) dan teknik penentuan jumlah sampel dari masing-masing lokasi penelitian atau setiap kecamatan adalah dengan cara proporsional sampling. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu metode analisis deskriptif dan metode regresi logistic. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 40 orang (41,24%) istri nelayan tidak bekerja dan 57 orang (58,76%) istri nelayan bekerja dari total keseluruhan sampel sebesar 97 responden dan hasil estimasi menunjukkan bahwa factor yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi partisipasi wanita dalam kegiatan ekonomi rumah tangga nelayan adalah jumlah tanggungan keluarga dan ijin suami.

The determination of the area is done purposively with consideration because the area has potential in production of capture fisheries. The sample's large method of determination is determined by the formula Slovin where this method assumes a large population, and the samples are randomly drawn (simple random sampling) and the technique of sample quantities from each research site or each sub-district is a proportional sampling. The methods of data analysis used are methods of descriptive analysis and regression logistic.The results showed that 40 people (41.24%) fishermen's wife does work and 57 people (58.76%) The fisherman's wife works from a total of 97 respondents and the estimated results show the factors that significantly affect women's participation in the fishermen's household economic activity are the number of family dependents and husband's permission.
