    Uji Teknis Alat Penanam Jagung (Zea mays L.) dengan Menggunakan Traktor Tangan

    Abstract
    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji perbandingan antara perbedaan ukuran diameter Gear yang maksimal digunakan pada alat penanam jagung secara teknis dengan luas lahan 0,002 ha. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial. ukuran diameter Gear yang digunakan adalah 30 cm, 40 cm, dan 50 cm. Parameter yang diteliti adalah kapasitas efektif alat, jarak tanam dan jumlah biji yang tertanam. Kapasitas efektif alat terbesar terdapat pada ukuran diameter G2 40 cm yaitu dengan jumlah rata-rata 0,1905 ha/jam dan terendah pada ukuran diameter G1 30 cm yaitu dengan jumlah rata-rata 0,1867 ha/jam, jarak tanam terbesar pada perlakuan diameter G1 30 cm yaitu dengan jumlah rata-rata 42,18918 cm dan jarak tanam terendah adalah pada diameter G3 50 cm yaitu dengan rata-rata 28,42 cm, dan jumlah biji yang tertanam terbesar pada perlakuan diameter G3 50 cm denga jumlah rata-rata 1,80 biji dan jumlah biji terendah pada perlakuan diameter G1 30 cm yaitu dengan jumlah rata-rata 1,76954 biji.
     
    The purpose of this study was to examine the comparison between the difference in the size of the appropriate Gear diameter used on a corn planter technically with a land area of 0.002 ha. This study used a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The diameter sizes of the Gears used are 30 cm, 40 cm, and 50 cm. The parameters studised was the effective capacity of the tool, the spacing and the number of seeds planted. The largest effective capacity of the tool is found in the G2 diameter of 40 cm, with an average of 0.1905 Ha/hour and the lowest was on the size of the G1 diameter of 30 cm, with an average of 0.1867 ha/hour, the largest spacing was on the G1 diameter 30 cm, with an average number of 42.18918 cm and the lowest planting distance was at a G3 diameter of 50 cm with an average of 28.42 cm, and the largest number of seeds embedded in the treatment of a G3 diameter of 50 cm with an average number of 1.80 seeds and the lowest number of seeds was treated with a G1 diameter of 30 cm, with an average number of 1.76954 seeds.
