dc.description.abstractBAGUS WICAKSONO: Application of Phosphate Solvent Microbes and Manure Against P Uptake and Production of Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) in Ultisol Soil. Supervised by Dr. Mariani Br. Sembiring., SP., MP. and Dr. Ir. Fauzi., MP. This study aimed to examine the ability of phosphate solubilizing microbes (MPF), manure and the interaction of MPF with manure on P uptake and shallot production in Ultisol soil. The research was carried out in a screen house and soil biology laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra in July-September 2021. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with two treatment factors and 3 replications. The first factor was MPF (M), namely: (M0) without MPF application, (M1) 5 g Mycorrhizae / plant, (M2) 5 ml Burkholderia cepacia bacteria / plant, (M3) 5 ml fungus Talaromyces phinopilus / plant. The second factor is the source of manure (P), namely: (P0) without application of manure, (P1) 70 g cow manure/plants, (P2) 70 g chicken manure/plants. The results showed that the application of MPF significantly increased soil pH, microbial population, degree of infection, tuber wet weight, tuber dry weight and P uptake of shallots in Ultisol soil. Manure application significantly increased soil pH, microbial population, degree of infection, plant height, tuber diameter, tuber wet weight, tuber dry weight and P uptake of shallots in Ultisol soil. The interaction between MPF and manure significantly increased tuber wet weight, tuber dry weight, shoot dry weight and P uptake of shallots on Ultisol soil. The best treatment of Mikoriza and Burkholderia cepacia with chicken manure.en_US
dc.description.abstractBAGUS WICAKSONO : Aplikasi Mikroba Pelarut Fosfat dan Pupuk Kandang Terhadap Serapan P dan Produksi Bawang Merah (Allium ascalonicum L.) Pada Tanah Ultisol. Dibimbing oleh Dr. Mariani Br. Sembiring., SP., MP. dan Dr. Ir. Fauzi., MP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kemampuan mikroba pelarut fosfat (MPF), pupuk kandang dan interaksi MPF dengan pupuk kandang terhadap serapan P dan produksi bawang merah pada tanah Ultisol. Penelitian dilaksanakan di rumah kasa dan laboratorium biologi tanah fakultas pertanian universitas sumatera utara pada bulan Juli - September 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan dua faktor perlakuan dan 3 Ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah MPF (M), yaitu : (M0) tanpa aplikasi MPF, (M1) 5 g Mikoriza / tanaman, (M2) 5 ml bakteri Burkholderia cepacia / tanaman, (M3) 5 ml jamur Talaromyces phinopilus / tanaman. Faktor kedua adalah sumber pupuk kandang (P), yaitu : (P0) tanpa aplikasi pupuk kandang, (P1) 70 g kotoran sapi / tanaman, (P2) 70 g kotoran ayam / tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian MPF nyata meningkatkan pH tanah, populasi mikroba, derajat infeksi, bobot basah umbi, bobot kering umbi dan serapan P tanaman bawang merah pada tanah Ultisol. Aplikasi pupuk kandang nyata meningkatkan pH tanah, populasi mikroba, derajat infeksi, tinggi tanaman, diameter umbi, bobot basah umbi, bobot kering umbi dan serapan P tanaman bawang merah pada tanah Ultisol. Interaksi antara MPF dan pupuk kandang nyata meningkatkan bobot basah umbi, bobot kering umbi, bobot kering tajuk dan serapan P tanaman bawang merah pada tanah Ultisol. Perlakuan terbaik Mikoriza dan Burkholderia cepacia dengan pupuk kandang ayam.en_US
