Peran Anggota Ormas (Organisasi Masyarakat) atau OKP (Organisasi Kepemudaan) dalam Proses Relokasi Pasar Induk Lau Cih

Abstract

This study based of their actions Sutomo Market relocating to Pasar Induk Laucih conducted Medan City government to improve the face and the layout of the city of Medan, where during this Sutomo market is considered to be unable to accommodate and often become a source of congestion around the road Sutomo. Although the purpose is to improve, but still Medan City government programs still got many problems in the process of relocation. In this case the authors focus on research in the role of community organizations or Youth Organizations in relocation activities of the Government of the city of Medan. The purpose of this study was to determine how the government's relocation process of Medan and how the role that members led Organizations or community organizations in the process of relocation of the Pasar Induk Lau Cih In this study, the authors used a qualitative research method with descriptive approach. In this study the authors found that the relocation process by the government does not go smoothly, it is marked by many conflicts in the Pasar Induk Laucih, as we all know that the Pasar Induk Laucih been running for almost three years, but the relocation process is still unfinished. In Pasar Induk Laucih led Organizations or Civil Society Organizations have a role in the sales process stalls, parking, bathrooms, securing and saving the market in night.

Tindakan relokasi Pasar Sutomo ke Pasar Induk Lau Cih yang dilakukan Pemerintah Kota Medan guna memperbaiki wajah dan tata letak Kota Medan, dimana selama ini Pasar Sutomo dinilai sudah tidak dapat menampung dan kerap menjadi biang kemacetan disekitar Jalan Sutomo. Meskipun tujuannya ingin memperbaiki, tetapi program Pemerintah Kota Medan masih mendapat masalah dalam proses relokasi. Dalam hal ini penulis memfokuskan penelitian dalam peran Organisasi Masyarakat atau Organisasi Kepemudaan dalam kegiatan relokasi yang dilakukan Pemerintah Kota Medan. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Proses relokasi yang dilakukan pemerintah Kota Medan serta bagaimana peran yang dijalankan anggota Organisasi Kepemudaan atau Organisasi Masyarakat dalam proses relokasi Pasar Induk Lau Cih. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriftif. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menemukan proses relokasi yang dilakukan pemerintah tidak berjalan dengan mulus, hal ini ditandai dengan banyaknya konflik yang terjadi dalam Pasar Induk Lau. Selain itu penulis menemukan bahwa Organisasi Masyarakat ataupun Organisasi kepemudaan yang berada di Pasar Induk Lau Cih masuk melalui kerjasama yang dilakukan PD Pasar Kota Medan dengan pihak ketiga. Dalam Pasar Induk Lau Cih Organisasi Kepemudaan atau Organisasi Masyarakat mempunyai peran dalam proses penjualan kios, parkir, kamar mandi, pengamanan dan bongkar muat Pasar Induk Lau Cih.
