    Pengaruh Keluarga dan Kelompok Referensi Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Smartphone Merek OPPO (Studi pada Mahasiswa Universitas Sumatera Utara)

    Abstract
    Rapid technological developments can facilitate various sectors, one of which is the smartphone industry which is increasingly in demand by consumers because of the increasingly sophisticated features provided on smartphones are considered capable of facilitating the communication process and being able to meet one's needs at this time. This study aims to determine the effect of family and reference groups on purchasing decisions for Oppo brand smartphones at students of the University of North Sumatra. This type of research is an associative research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was the University of North Sumatra students, the sample taken as many as 96 respondents with the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that the family has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. Based on the test results the coefficient of determination can be seen the influence of family variables and reference groups of 60.6% and other influences are influenced by other variables not included in this study.
     
    Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat dapat memudahkan berbagai sektor, salah satu nya adalah sektor industri smartphone yang semakin diminati konsumen karena semakin canggihnya fitur-fitur yang disediakan pada smartphone dianggap mampu mempermudah proses komunikasi dan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan seseorang pada masa ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keluarga dan kelompok referensi terhadap keputusan pembelian smartphone merek Oppo pada mahasiswa Universitas Sumatera Utara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Universitas Sumatera Utara, sampel yang diambil sebanyak 96 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keluarga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Berdasarkan hasil uji koefisien determinasi dapat dilihat pengaruh variabel keluarga dan kelompok referensi sebesar 60,6% dan pengaruh lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini.
