    Pengaruh Variasi Pengganti Pasir dengan Crumb Rubber dan Fiber Kelapa Sawit terhadap Karakteristik Light Pile

    Abstract
    Light pile is an alternative that is used to overcome the problem of soil that has a low bearing capacity. Manufacture of light piles as construction materials using industrial solid waste as pozzolanic materials that are used as binders to replace OPC cement. In addition, the use of crumb rubber based on previous research has a role as a substitute for sand. This research also utilizes palm fiber as reinforced concrete which has high resistance. As a fixed variable in this study is the comparison of the use industrial waste, while the independent variables in this study were the composition of crumb rubber as a substitute for sand, the composition of the processed fiber as a substitute for sand, curing method (open air and immersion). The test specimens were made by adopting the mixed design of Standard ASTM C 109. The dimensions of the test specimens were cubes (50 x 50 x 50) mm to calculate the specific gravity and test the compressive strength. The light pile produced from this study has the best average compressive strength value in the V3 variation mixture, namely the average compressive strength value in the open air curing method of 3.73 MPa or 0% against Control K2 which is 3,73 MPa and in the immersion curing method of 3.60 MPa or 28,35% With the open air curing method, V6 has the smallest average density of 1.12 g/cm3 or 46,35% against K2 which is 2.08 gr/cm3 while the immersion curing method V5 has the lowest average density. small, namely 1.06 g/cm3 or 51,11% of the specific gravity value of K2 which is 2.17 g/cm3. In the open air curing method the value of the strength activity index (SAI) against K2 is 100% and the composition of V1 has the highest SAI against K2, which is 94.74%. In the immersion curing method, the SAI value to K2 is 100% and the composition of V3 has the highest SAI to K2, which is 100%. The immersion curing pattern in various variations shows the SAI to K2 which tends to be higher than the open air curing and at V3 it reaches 100%.
     
    Light pile merupakan alternatif yang digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tanah yang memiliki daya dukung rendah. Pembuatan light pile sebagai bahan konstruksi dengan memanfaatkan crumb rubber berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu memiliki peran sebagai pengganti pasir. Penelitian ini juga memanfaatkan fiber kelapa sawit sebagai reinforced concrete yang memiliki ketahanan yang tinggi. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah komposisi crumb rubber dan fiber sebagai pengganti pasir, metode curing (udara terbuka dan perendaman). Pembuatan uji spesimen dibuat mengadopsi desain campuran Standard ASTM C 109. Dimensi spesimen uji kubus ukuran (50 x 50 x 50) mm untuk menghitung berat jenis dan menguji kuat tekan. Dari hasil percobaan crumb rubber dan fiber menunjukkan potensibilitasnya untuk meningkatkan kuat tekan dan menurunkan berat jenis walaupun belum dapat lebih kecil dari 1 gr/cm3.
