    Perencanaan Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) Domestik Kecamatan Datuk Bandar Kota Tanjungbalai

    Abstract
    Domestic wastewater is waste water originating from businesses and or residential activities, restaurants, offices, commerce, apartments, and dormitories. Waste production in Datuk Bandar District, Tanjungbalai City is generated from household waste. Household waste is generally disposed of in front of the house drainage and flowed directly into water bodies or rivers due to the unavailability of waste treatment that meets technical requirements. As a result of the unavailability of waste treatment, it will reduce environmental quality. To prevent this, it is necessary to build a Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) which functions to reduce the concentration of pollutant substances before being discharged into water bodies or rivers and will serve Datuk Bandar District, Datuk Bandar Timur District, and South Tanjungbalai District. The planned WWTP location is in Pahang Village based on Tanjungbalai City Regulation No. 02 of 2013 concerning the Tanjungbalai City Spatial Plan for 2013-2033. The processing technology used is an Aerobic Biofilter. The resulting wastewater discharge is 14,471,376 m3/h. Based on the calculations, the dimensions of the collecting well basin are 9.4 m x 4.7 m x 3.5 m; oil and fat separator tank 16.8 m x 8.4 m x 3.5 m; settling basin I 41.2 m x 20.6 m x 3.5 m; aeration tank 3.9 m x 19.67 m x 3.5 m; aerobic tub 38.85 m x 19.67 m x 3.5 m; settling basin II 43.7 m x 21.85 m x 3.5 m; sludge thickening 13 m diameter, 4.59 m high. The required budget is Rp. 15.179.070.000
     
    Air limbah domestik adalah air limbah yang berasal dari usaha dan atau kegiatan pemukiman, rumah makan, perkantoran, perniagaan, apartemen, dan asrama. Produksi limbah di Kecamatan Datuk Bandar Kota Tanjungbalai dihasilkan dari limbah rumah tangga. Limbah rumah tangga umumnya dibuang ke drainase depan rumah dan dialirkan langsung ke badan air atau sungai dikarenakan belum tersedianya pengolahan limbah yang memenuhi persyaratan secara teknis. Akibat dari belum tersedianya pengolahan limbah, akan menurunkan kualitas lingkungan. Untuk mencegah hal tersebut, perlu dibangun Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) yang berfungsi untuk menurunkan konsentrasi zat-zat pencemar sebelum dialirkan ke badan air atau sungai dan akan melayani Kecamatan Datuk Bandar, Kecamatan Datuk Bandar Timur, dan Kecamatan Tanjungbalai Selatan. Lokasi IPAL yang direncanakan adalah di Kelurahan Pahang berdasarkan Peraturan Daerah Kota Tanjungbalai No. 02 Tahun 2013 tentang Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah Kota Tanjungbalai Tahun 2013-2033. Teknologi pengolahan yang digunakan adalah Biofilter Aerobik. Debit air limbah yang dihasilkan sebesar 14.471,376 m3/h. Berdasarkan pehitungan didapatkan dimensi bak sumur pengumpul 9,4 m x 4,7 m x 3,5 m; bak pemisah minyak dan lemak 16,8 m x 8,4 m x 3,5 m; bak pengendap I 41,2 m x 20,6 m x 3,5 m; bak aerasi 3,9 m x 19,67 m x 3,5 m; bak aerob 38,85 m x 19,67 m x 3,5 m; bak pengendap II 43,7 m x 21,85 m x 3,5 m; bak pemekatan lumpur diameter 13 m, tinggi 4,59 m. Anggaran biaya yang dibutuhkan sebesar Rp.15.179.070.000.
