    Formulasi Sediaan Masker Mata Hidrogel yang Mengandung Ekstrak Air Umbi Kentang Kuning (Solanum tuberosum L.) sebagai Anti-Aging

    Abstract
    Eye masks are a new innovation in the world of cosmetics. The preparation of masks has several advantages, including in terms of practicality of use. The thinness and sensitivity of the skin in the area under the eyes causes the skin in this area to show signs of aging very easily. Hydrogel mask have a lot of water content so that during use the hydrogel eye mask will moisturize the skin longer. Hydrogel eye mask containing water extract of yellow potato tubers is used for the prevention of premature aging, especially under the eyes. The purpose of this study was to determine the anti-aging effectiveness of hydrogel eye mask containing water extract of yellow potato tuber. The yellow potato tuber water extract was screened for phytochemicals, then formulated into a hydrogel eye mask with a concentration of F1 0.25%; F2 0.5%; F3 1%. Evaluation of the hydrogel eye mask preparation includes organoleptic, weight, thickness, pH test, tensile test, swelling power, shrinkage, stability, cycling test, hedonic test and anti-aging. Anti-aging parameters measured include moisture, pores, spot and wrinkles. The treatment was carried out for four weeks by applying the mask twice a week. The results showed that all hydrogel eye mask formulas were stable during storage and cycling tests. All formulas meet pH values, shrinkage, elasticity, swellability and irritation tests. The most preferred hedonic test on volunteers is the F3 preparation. The results of the anti-aging effectiveness test of the best hydrogel eye mask preparation was the F3 preparation with an increase in hydration of 27%, a decrease in pore size of 35.8%, spot 40% and wrinkle 37.6%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the F3 preparation is a preparation that meets all evaluations, namely stability, volunteer preference and anti-aging effectiveness.
     
    Masker mata merupakan inovasi baru dalam dunia kosmetik. Sediaan masker memiliki beberapa kelebihan, diantaranya dalam hal kepraktisan penggunaan. Ketipisan dan kesensitifan kulit pada area bawah mata menyebabkan kulit pada area ini mudah sekali muncul tanda-tanda penuaan. Masker hidrogel memiliki kandungan air yang cukup banyak sehingga selama penggunaan masker mata hidrogel akan melembabkan kulit lebih lama. Maker mata hidrogel yang mengandung ekstrak air umbi kentang kuning digunakan untuk pencegahan penuaan dini terutama di bagian bawah mata. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan efektivitas anti-aging sediaan masker mata hidrogel yang mengandung esktrak air umbi kentang kuning. Ekstrak air umbi kentang kuning dilakukan skrining fitokimia, kemudian diformulasikan menjadi sediaan masker mata hidrogel dengan konsentrasi F1 0,25%; F2 0,5%; F3 1%. Evaluasi terhadap sediaan masker mata hidrogel meliputi organoleptis, berat, ketebalan, uji pH, uji daya tarik, daya mengembang, penyusutan, stabilitas, cycling test, uji hedonik dan anti-aging. Parameter anti-aging yang diukur meliputi kelembaban, kehalusan, pori, noda dan keriput. Perawatan dilakukan selama empat minggu dengan mengaplikasikan masker dua kali seminggu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan semua formula masker mata hidrogel stabil selama penyimpanan dan cycling test. Semua formula memenuhi nilai pH, penyusutan, tingkat elastisiitas, daya mengembang dan uji iritasi. Uji hedonik pada sukarelawan yang paling disukai adalah sediaan F3. Hasil uji efektivitas anti-aging sediaan masker mata hidrogel paling baik adalah sediaan F3 dengan peningkatan kelembaban 27%, penurunan pori 35,8%, noda 40% dan kerutan 37,6%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa sediaan F3 merupakan sediaan yang memenuhi semua evaluasi yaitu stabilitas, kesukaan sukarelawan maupun pengukuran efektivitas anti-aging.
