    Aplikasi Proses Elektrokoagulasi untuk Penyisihan Fosfat dengan Elektroda Besi (Fe) dalam Limbah Cair Sintetis

    Abstract
    All human activities will produce waste water. Wastewater that is discharged directly into water bodies without treatment will cause an increase in the concentration of nutrients in the waters, such as phosphate. High phosphate levels will cause a decrease in water quality. So it is necessary to treat phosphate removal in water, one of which is the electrocoagulation method. This study aims to determine the effect of time variations (15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90, 105,120), voltage (10 volts, 20 volts, and 30 volts) and electrode distance (5 mm, 10 mm, 15 mm, 20 volts). mm, and 30 mm) on the efficiency of phosphate removal in synthetic wastewater using the batch electrocoagulation method, using iron (Fe) electrodes. Furthermore, the results of the process data will be analyzed using SPSS, and the adsorption kinetics are calculated, as well as testing with Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherms. From the results of the analysis obtained that the time, voltage and distance of the electrodes will affect the efficiency of phosphate removal. In the calculation of adsorption kinetics, pseudo second order is the appropriate adsorption for the phosphate adsorption process, with a regression value of 0.9735; 0.9748; 0.9974. While in the adsorption isotherm test, the Langmuir adsorption isotherm model is more suitable to be used in this study, with the R2 value between 0.9943 - 0.9998.
     
    Segala aktivitas manusia akan menghasilkan air limbah. Air limbah yang dibuang langsung ke badan air tanpa proses pengolahan, akan menyebabkan kenaikan konsentrasi zat hara pada perairan, seperti fosfat. Kadar fosfat yang tinggi akan menyebabkan penurunan kualitas air. Sehingga dibutuhkan pengolahan penyisihan fosfat dalam air, salah satunya dengan metode elektrokoagulasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi waktu (15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90, 105, 120 menit), tegangan (10 volt, 20 volt, dan 30 volt) dan jarak elektroda (5 mm, 10 mm, 15 mm, 20 mm, dan 30 mm) terhadap efisiensi penyisihan fosfat dalam limbah cair sintetis menggunakan metode elektrokoagulasi secara batch, dengan menggunakan elektroda besi (Fe). Selanjutnya hasil data proses akan dianalisis menggunakan SPSS, dan dihitung kinetika adsorpsinya, serta dilakukan pengujian dengan isoterm adsorpsi Langmuir dan Freundlich. Dari hasil analisa diperoleh bahwa waktu, tegangan dan jarak elektroda akan berpengaruh terhadap efisiensi penyisihan fosfat. Pada perhitungan kinetika adsorpsi, pseudo orde kedua merupakan adsorpsi yang sesuai untuk proses adsorpsi fosfat, dengan nilai regresi 0,9735; 0,9748; 0,9974. Sedangkan pada pengujian isoterm adsorpsi, model isoterm adsorpsi Langmuir lebih sesuai digunakan pada penelitian ini, dengan nilai R 2 berada antara 0,9943 - 0,9998.
