    Peran Orang Tua pada Pendampingan Anak Tunagrahita dalam Pembelajaran Daring (Studi Deskriptif pada Anak Tunagrahita di Kota Tebing Tinggi Yang dirumahkan)

    Abstract
    Mentally retarded children are children who have limited thinking power, have not been able to be independent, intellectual functions are below average and have an inability to adapt in society. During the pandemic, the learning system for mentally retarded children was carried out online, accompanied by parents at home. With the aim of seeing the role of parents during online learning. Research with the title "The Role of Parents in Assisting Children with Intellectual Requirements in Online Learning (Descriptive Study on Children with Disabilities in the City of Tebing Tinggi who are Housed)" has a problem formula "How is the role of parents in assisting mentally retarded children during online learning?" through the study of Pierre Bourdieu's theory of Social Practice. This research aims to describe the role of parents in assisting mentally retarded children during online learning through the study of Pierre Bourdieu's Social Practice theory. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive study. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation and in-depth interviews. The theoretical basis used is Pierre Bourdieu's theory of Social Practice. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the social practice of parental involvement is carried out through special habits when getting mentally retarded children obtained from the knowledge and experience of parents in the past as well as the patience of parents who play a role in assisting mentally retarded children in online learning in socializing learning, continuing and reteaching assignments. from the teacher. Parents are able to accumulate their cultural and economic capital through their child's special education and instinctive awareness in terms of supporting learning at home. During the pandemic, the independence of mentally retarded children increases, they are able to bathe themselves, wear clothes, until parents teach the Koran to mentally retarded children.
     
    Anak tunagrahita adalah anak yang memiliki keterbatasan daya pikir, belum mampu mandiri, fungsi intelektual berada di bawah rata-rata dan adanya ketidakmampuan dalam menyesuaikan diri di masyarakat. Selama masa pandemi sistem pembelajaran pada anak tunagrahita dilakukan secara daring dengan di dampingi para orang tua di rumah. Dengan tujuan untuk melihat peran orang tua selama belajar daring. Penelitian dengan judul “Peran Orang Tua Pada Pendampingan Anak Tunagrahita Dalam Pembelajaran Daring (Studi Deskriptif Pada Anak Tunagrahita Di Kota Tebing Tinggi Yang Dirumahkan)” memiliki rumusan masalah “Bagaimana peran orang tua dalam mendampingi anak tunagrahita selama belajar daring?” melalui telaah teori Praktik Sosial Pierre Bourdieu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran orang tua dalam mendampingi anak tunagrahita selama belajar daring melalui telaah teori Praktik Sosial Pierre Bourdieu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Landasan teori yang digunakan adalah teori Praktik Sosial Pierre Bourdieu. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Praktik Sosial keterlibatan orang tua dilakukan melalui habitus khusus saat mendapatkan anak tunagrahita yang diperoleh dari pengetahuan dan pengalaman orang tua dahulu serta kesabaran orang tua yang berperan mendampingi anak tunagrahita belajar daring dalam melakukan sosialisasi pembelajaran, meneruskan dan mengajarkan kembali tugas dari guru. Orang tua mampu mengakumulasikan modal budaya dan modal ekonomi mereka melalui pendidikan khusus anak mereka dan kesadaran naluriah dalam hal mendukung pembelajaran di rumah. Selama pandemi, kemandirian anak tunagrahita meningkat, mereka mampu mandi sendiri, memakai pakaian, hingga orang tua mengajarkan mengaji pada anak tunagrahita.
