Abstract

This research is entitled “Analysis of Expressive Speech Acts in the Film “唐人街 探案 2 (tángrénjiē tàn àn 2: Detective Chinatown 2)”. This study aims to describe the forms of expressive speech acts and the functions of expressive speech acts contained in the dialogue of film 唐人街探案 2 (tángrénjiē tàn àn 2: Detective Chinatown 2). The theory used in this research is the speech act theory by Yule and the speech function theory by Leech. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data of this research are speech that contain the form of expressive speech acts and the functions of expressive speech acts contained in the dialogue of film 唐人街探案 2 (tángrénjiē tàn àn 2: Detective Chinatown 2). The data of this research were collected using the listening method and the note-taking technique by Sudaryanto. The results of this study show expressive speech acts of pragmatic meaning, namely expressive congratulate, giving compliments, thanking, sadness, blaming, criticizing, grumbling, apologizing, support, annoyed, and condolences. And the function of expressive speech acts, namely the function of expressive speech acts expressing attitudes, thank, apologies, and expressing sympathy.

Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Bentuk Tindak Tutur Ekspesif dalam Film “唐人 街探案 2 (tángrénjiē tàn àn 2 : Detective Chinatown 2)”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk tuturan tindak tutur ekspresif dan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif yang terdapat di dalam dialog film 唐人街探案 2 (tángrénjiē tàn àn 2 : Detective Chinatown 2). Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori tindak tutur oleh Yule dan teori fungsi tuturan oleh Leech. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini adalah tuturan yang mengandung bentuk tuturan tindak tutur ekspresif dan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif yang terdapat dalam dialog film 唐人街探案 2 (tángrénjiē tàn àn 2 : Detective Chinatown 2). Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan metode simak dan teknik catat oleh Sudaryanto. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tindak tutur ekspresif dari makna pragmatis, yaitu ekspresif mengucapkan selamat, memberi pujian, berterimakasih, kesedihan, menyalahkan, mengkritik, mengeluh, minta maaf, mendukung, kekesalan, dan berbelasungkawa. Dan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif, yaitu fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif mengungkapkan sikap, mengucapkan terimakasih, permintaan maaf, dan menyatakan simpati.
