“New Normal Pandemi Covid 19 Pada Driver Ojek Online Kota Medan dalam Teori Solidaritas Sosial Emile Durkheim

Abstract

New Normal is a condition of a new order that replaces the previous order, where this new order is the answer to the inability of the previous order. The phenomenon of the Covid-19 pandemi has damaged the social and economic life of the community as a whole, especially online motorcycle taxi drivers in the city of Medan. Social solidarity in the Covid-19 pandemi is an interesting study to see how this situation forms collectivity. The research entitled "New Normal Covid-19 Pandemi in Medan City Online Ojek Drivers in Emile Durkheim's Social Solidarity Theory" has a problem formulation "How can New Normal change the collective awareness of online motorcycle taxi drivers in Medan City?". This study aims to determine the social solidarity of online motorcycle taxi drivers in the city of Medan through the theory of Emile Durkheim. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the "New Normal Covid-19 Pandemi in Medan City Online Ojek Drivers in Emile Durkheim's Social Solidarity Theory" is able to build collective awareness within the Driver's scope, a form of solidarity that is built both mechanically and organically takes place separately, where solidarity mechanics position online motorcycle taxi drivers as a unit of drivers who together achieve a common goal, namely collective awareness to survive in a pandemi condition, and understand the importance of health as maintaining mutual safety. Whereas in organic solidarity the Drivers position themselves as an important part as well as the beginning of the implementation of the New Normal in society to maintain and care for this new order, but organic solidarity is the development of the concept of forming a collectivity of Medan City Drivers, and social facts are the main subject of the COVID-19 pandemi. 19 changing and building a collectivity of Medan city drivers.

New Normal adalah kondisi tatanan baru yang menggantikan tatanan sebelumnya, dimana tatanan baru ini menjadi jawaban atas ketidakmampuan tatanan sebelumnya. Fenomena pandemi Covid-19, merusak kehidupan sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat secara keseluruhan, khususnya Driver ojek online di kota Medan. Solidaritas sosial pada Pandemi Covid-19 menjadi kajian menarik untuk melihat bagaimana situasi tersebut membentuk kolektivitas. Penelitian dengan judul “New Normal Pandemi Covid-19 Pada Driver Ojek Online Kota Medan Dalam Teori Solidaritas Sosial Emile Durkheim” memiliki rumusan masalah “Bagaimana New Normal dapat merubah kesadaran kolektif para driver ojek online di Kota Medan?”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Solidaritas sosial Driver ojek online dikota Medan melalui teori Emile Durkheim. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa “New Normal Pandemi Covid-19 Pada Driver Ojek Online Kota Medan Dalam Teori Solidaritas Sosial Emile Durkheim” mampu membangun kesadaran kolektif dalam ruang lingkup Driver, bentuk solidaritas yang terbangun baik mekanik maupun organik berlangsung secara terpisah, dimana solidaritas mekanik memposisikan Driver ojek online sebagai kesatuan para Driver yang dengan kebersamaan mencapai sebuah tujuan bersama yaitu kesadaran kolektif untuk tetap bertahan pada kondisi pandemi, serta memahami pentingnya kesehatan sebagai menjaga keselamatan bersama. Sedangkan dalam solidaritas organik para Driver memposisikan sebagai bagian penting sekaligus permulaan dari penerapan New normal dalam masyarakat untuk tetap menajaga dan merawat tatanan baru ini, namun solidaritas organik merupakan pembangunan konsep terbentuknya kolektivitas para Driver kota Medan, serta fakta sosial menjadi subjek utama bagaimana pandemi COVID-19 merubah dan membangun kolektivitas para Driver kota medan
