dc.description.abstractBackground: The use of methamphetamine has different health consequences, including the risk of dependence, acute toxic effects (such as fatal overdoses, substance-induced psychotic symptoms, and myocardial infarction), health effects of chronic chronic use (such as psychotic disorders and general mental disorders) ), and accompanying problems such as cardiovascular pathology and neurotoxic effects. This disorder is prevalent throughout the world and can cause a variety of physical, psychological and emotional health problems. Substance use disorders are often associated with considerable psychiatric disorders, including depression and anxiety. Objective: To find out whether there are differences in HADS scores on anxiety and depression subscales in methamphetamine abusers between before and after abstinence for 3 weeks at the Medan Plus Rehabilitation Center. Methods: This study is a quasi-experimental study with a pre and post design that assesses the effect of Abstinence for 3 weeks on the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) Score on the anxiety scale and the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) Score on the depression subscale in patients with Metamphetamine dependence on Therapy community in the Medan Social Rehabilitation Center for Drug Abuse Victims Plus North Sumatra. Results: There was a very significant difference in HADS-A scores before and after abstinence in methamphetamine users with a p value <0.001. Conclusion: There was a very significant difference between the HADS score for anxiety subscale before and after 3 weeks abstinence in methamphetamine users with a p value <0.001 and there was a very significant difference between the HADS score for the depression subscale before and after 3 weeks abstinence in methamphetamine users with a p value < 0.001en_US
dc.description.abstractLatar Belakang: Penggunaan methamphetamine memiliki konsekuensi kesehatan yang berbeda, termasuk risiko ketergantungan, efek toksik akut (seperti overdosis yang fatal, gejala psikotik yang diinduksi zat, dan infark miokard), efek kesehatan dari penggunaan kronis yang berkelanjutan (seperti gangguan psikotik dan gangguan mental umum), dan masalah yang menyertainya seperti patologi kardiovaskular dan efek neurotoksik. Gangguan ini lazim di seluruh dunia dan dapat menyebabkan berbagai masalah kesehatan fisik, psikologis dan emosional. Gangguan penggunaan zat sering dikaitkan dengan gangguan kejiwaan yang cukup besar, termasuk depresi dan ansietas. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan skor HADS subskala ansietas dan depresi pada penyalahguna methamphetamine antara sebelum dan sesudah abstinensia selama 3 minggu di Pusat Rehabilitasi Medan Plus. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan studi quasi experimental dengan desain pre dan post yang menilai Pengaruh Abstinensia selama 3 minggu terhadap Skor Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) subskala ansietas dan Skor Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) subskala depresi pada pasien ketergantungan Metamphetamin di Therapy community di Pusat Rehabilitas Sosial Korban Penyalahgunaan Napza Medan Plus Sumatera Utara. Hasil: Terdapat perbedaan yang sangat bermakna Skor HADS-A sebelum dan sesudah abstinensia pada pengguna methamphetamine dengan nilai p <0,001. Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbedaan yang sangat bermakna antara skor HADS subskala ansietas sebelum dan sesudah abstinensia 3 minggu pada pengguna amphetamine dengan nilai p<0,001 dan Terdapat perbedaan yang sangat bermakna antara skor HADS subskala depresi sebelum dan sesudah abstinensia 3 minggu pada pengguna amphetamine dengan nilai p<0,001en_US
