    Analisis Timbulan, Komposisi, Karakteristik Sampah Rumah Tangga Dan Potensi Larva BSF di Kecamatan Sunggal dan Kecamatan Deli Tua

    Abstract
    The problem of waste is a problem that is always found both in sub-district/cities/regencies. Research on the occurence, composition and characteristics of household waste in Sub-district Sunggal and Sub-district Deli Tua will be information data on waste management in Sub-district Sunggal and Subdistrict Deli Tua. Research was conducted in Sub-district Sunggal and Sub-district Deli Tua, with location selection seen from the most consecutive land use as agrarian and settlement. The study was conducted for 8 (eight) consecutive days at the location. The results of this study obtained the average waste generation in Sub-district Sunggal is 0.20 kg/person/day or 3.39 L/person/day. While the average waste generation in Sub-district Deli Tua is 0.12 kg/person/day or 2.34 L/person/day. The composition of waste produced in Sub-district Sunggal is organic 62.98%, plastic 15.52%, paper 9.36%, other waste 6.43%, LWTR 3.94%, glass 0.94%, metal 0.70% and inert 0.39%. While the composition of waste produced in Sub-district Deli Tua is organic 66.68%, plastic 17.33%, paper 6.75%, LWTR 5.32%, other waste 2.21%, metal 0.81%, glass 0.75% and inert 0.15%. The characteristics of waste in Sub-district Sunggal consist of a type weight of 0.07 kg/L, proximate analysis includes a moisture content of 33.37%, volatile matter of 53.64%, ash content of 4.07%, and fixed carbon of 8.92% and a calorific value of 3666.92 kcal / kg. The characteristics of waste in Subdistrict Deli Tua consist of a type weight of 0.06 kg/L, proximate analysis for organic waste obtained a moisture content of 47.81%, volatile matter of 40.69%, ash content of 8.83% and fixed carbon of 2.67% and a calorific value of 3363.70 kcal / kg. The potential of BSF larvae that can be produced in Sunggal and Old Deli Districts is 575.35 tons and 48.89 tons respectively.
     
    Permasalahan sampah menjadi permasalahan yang selalu ditemukan baik di kecamatan/kota/kabupaten. Penelitian mengenai timbulan, komposisi dan karakteristik sampah rumah tangga di Kecamatan Sunggal dan Kecamatan Deli Tua akan menjadi data informasi pengelolaan persampahan di Kecamatan Sunggal dan Kecamatan Deli Tua. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Sunggal dan Kecamatan Deli Tua, dengan pemilihan lokasi dilihat dari penggunaan lahan paling banyak berturut-turut sebagai agraria dan permukiman. Penelitian dilakukan selama 8 (delapan) hari berturut-turut di lokasi tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh rata-rata timbulan sampah di Kecamatan Sunggal adalah 0,20 kg/orang/hari atau 3,39 L/orang/hari. Sedangkan rata-rata timbulan sampah di Kecamatan Deli Tua adalah 0,12 kg/orang/hari atau 2,34 L/orang/hari. Komposisi sampah yang dihasilkan di Kecamatan Sunggal adalah organik 62,98%, plastik 15,52%, kertas 9,36%, sampah lainnya 6,43%, LWTR 3,94%, kaca 0,94%, logam 0,70% dan inert 0,39%. Sedangkan komposisi sampah yang dihasilkan di Kecamatan Deli Tua adalah organik 66,68%, plastik 17,33%, kertas 6,75%, LWTR 5,32%, sampah lainnya 2,21%, logam 0,81%, kaca 0,75% dan inert 0,15%. Karakteristik sampah di Kecamatan Sunggal terdiri dari berat jenis 0,07 kg/L, proximate analysis meliputi kadar air 33,37%, kadar volatile 53,64%, kadar abu 4,07%, dan fixed carbon 8,92% serta nilai kalor 3666,92 kcal/kg. Karakteristik sampah di Kecamatan Deli Tua terdiri dari berat jenis 0,06 kg/L, proximate analysis untuk sampah organik diperoleh kadar air 47,81%, kadar volatil 40,69%, kadar abu 8,83% dan fixed carbon 2,67% serta nilai kalor 3363,70 kcal/kg. Potensi larva BSF yang dapat dihasilkan di Kecamatan Sunggal dan Deli Tua berturut-turut adalah 575,35 ton dan 48,89 ton.
