dc.description.abstract | Academic bouyancy is the ability of students to be able and successfully to handle the typical challenges that can affect their academic life (such as poor grades, deadlines, pressure to face exams, and assignments that are not reached). This study aims to see how the description of academic bouyancy on USU Psychology Faculty Students who study during the COVID-19 pandemic with 106 research subjects. This study uses a descriptive quantitative research method using a Likert scale based on the dimensions of academic bouyancy proposed by Martin, Colmar, Davey and Marsh (2010) with a total of 25 items. The results of the study show that the overview of the academic bouyancy of the 106 active USU psychology students studying during the COVID-19 pandemic, the largest number of subjects is 73 (68.9%) people are classified as moderate, then 32 (30.2%) people are classified as high, and as many as 1 (0.9%) people are classified as low. From this analysis, it can be concluded that the most of the students were able to actively study at USU during the COVID-19 pandemic classified as moderate. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Academic bouyancy merupakan kemampuan peserta didik untuk bisa dan berhasil menangani tantangan yang khas yang dapat mempengaruhi kehidupan akademik mereka (seperti nilai buruk, deadline, tekanan dalam menghadapi ujian, serta tugas yang tidak dipahami). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana gambaran academic bouyancy pada mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Psikologi USU yang berkuliah dimasa pandemi COVID 19 dengan subjek penelitian yang berjumlah 106 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan skala Likert yang disusun berdasarkan dimensi academic bouyancy yang dikemukakan oleh Martin, Colmar, Davey dan Marsh (2010) dengan jumlah 25 aitem. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa gambaran academic bouyancy dari 106 mahasiswa aktif fakultas psikologi USU yang berkuliah dimasa pandemi COVID-19, paling besar subjek sebanyak 73 (68,9%) orang tergolong sedang, kemudian sebanyak 32 (30,2%) orang tergolong tinggi, dan sebanyak 1 (0,9%) orang tergolong rendah. Dari analisis tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Psikologi USU yang berkuliah dimasa pandemi COVID-19 memiliki academic bouyancy yang sedang. | en_US |
