Faktor-faktor yang Memengaruhi Partisipasi Ibu dalam Pemberian Imunisasi Measles Rubella (MR) di Kota Medan

Abstract

Measles-Rubela (MR) disease can have a negative impact on the health of Indonesian children, and is a disease that cannot be treated. The coverage of MR immunization in Medan City, which is 52.57 percent, has not reacheed the national target off 95 percent. Mothers haves a role in the immunization needs of their children and mother's participation will determine the success of MR immunization coverage. The purposse of this study was to analyze the factors that influence maternal participation in administering MR immunizzation to childrens aged 9months to5 years in Medan City.This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional design. The poppulation is all mothers who have children aged >9 months-5years who live in the working area of Sukaramai Public Healths Center and Matsum City Health Center. The number of samples was determined by the Slovins formulla as many as 109 mothers and the samples were determined by proportional sampling. Collecting data through the distribution of questionnaires. Data were analyze ussing Chi-Square tes and ordinal logistik regresion at the95 percent significance limit. The result showed that the factors of working mother, income <UMR, needs and support from the community structure influenced participation in giving MR immunizzation to childrens aged 9months to 5years (p <0.05). Factors of age and education has no influence. The conclusions of the research is that the factors that influence the participation of mothers in giving MR immunization are the factors of working mothers, income <UMR, needs and support from the community structure. It is recomended thats mother who have childrens under five try to increase participation in the provisions of MR immunization. For healths service to further increase the socialization of MR immunization, measles and rubella disease to the community

Penyakit Measles Rubella (MR) bisa memberi efek buruk terhadap kesehatan anak di Indonesia, dan merupakan penyakit yang tidak dapat diobati. Cakupan imunisassi MR di Kota Medan yaitu 52.57persen belum mencapai target nasional 95persen. Ibu sangat memiliki peran untuk kebutuhan imunisassi anak dan partisipasi ibu sangat menentukan keberhasilan cakupan imunisasi MR. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi partisipasi ibu dalam pemberian imunisasi MR pada anak usia 9bulan sampai 5tahun di Kota Medan.Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi adalah semua ibu yang memiliki anak usia > 9 bulan-5tahun yang berdomisili diwilayah kerja Puskesmas Sukaramai dan Puskesmas Kota Matsum. Jumlah sampel ditentukan dengan rumus Slovin sebanyak 109 orang ibu dan yang menjadi sampel ditentukan secara proportional sampling. Pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Data dianalisis secara univariat, bivariat dan multivariat. Analissis bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-Square dan analisiss multivariat menggunakan uji regressi logistik ordinal pada batas kemaknaan 95 persen. Hasil dari penelitian diketahui bahwa faktr ibu bekerja, penghasilan <UMR, kebutuhan dan dukungan struktur masyarakat berpengaruh terhadap partisipasi ibu dalam pemberian imunisassi MR pada anak usia 9bulan sampai dengan 5 tahun (p <0,05). Faktor umur dan pendidikan tidak memiliki pengaruh. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian bahwa faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi partisipasi ibu dalam pemberian imunisassi MR adalah faktor ibu bekerja, penghasilan, kebutuhan dan dukungan struktur masyarakat. Disarankan ibu yang mempunyai anak balita berupaya meningkatkan partisipasi pemberian imunisasi MR. Bagi pelayanan kesehatan agar semakin meningkatkan sosialisasi imunisasi MR, penyakit measles dan rubella kepada masyarakat.
