    Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi karena Transformasi Digital Terhadap Employee Engagement pada Pegawai Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Medan

    Abstract
    Communication is much needed to develop the digital era so library officers can interpret and understand the intent and purpose of the service users. With the best communication, excellent service is achieved. Library officers are required to have a sense of responsibility in providing broad access for users. To improve employee engagement, they need training and development about information systems, web page design, databases, and collaborators as well as to update their knowledge so they can form a new engagement and abilities for employees. The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of organizational culture on employee engagement with digital transformation as a moderating variable. The first hypothesis examines whether organizational culture influences employee engagement. The second hypothesis examines whether the digital transformation is the moderating variable in the relationship between organizational culture and employee engagement. The populations in this research are library officers of Universitas Negeri Medan. This research uses a non-probability sampling technique with the kind of saturated samples. Data were collected using a survey method and then analyzed by using simple linear regression. The results of the research conducted indicate that the organizational culture has a significant effect on employee engagement. Another result of this research shows that digital transformation is not a moderating variable in the relationship between organizational culture and employee engagement.
     
    Berkomunikasi bagi pegawai sangat diperlukan pada perkembangan era digital agar pegawai mampu menafsirkan dan memahami maksud serta tujuan dari pengguna jasa perpustakaan sehingga tercapai pelayanan yang prima. Pegawai dituntut untuk memiliki rasa tanggungjawab dalam menyediakan akses secara luas bagi pemustaka. Untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pegawai terhadap sistem informasi, rancangan halaman web, database, dan kolaborator serta pengetahuan terkini diperlukan pelatihan dan pengembangan agar membentuk keterikatan kemampuan baru dari pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap employee engagement dengan transformasi digital sebagai variabel moderasi. Hipotesis pertama menguji apakah budaya organisasi berpengaruh terhadap employee engagement. Hipotesis kedua menguji apakah transformasi digital merupakan variabel moderasi dalam hubungan antara budaya organisasi dan employee engagement. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai pada perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Medan. Sampel penelitian dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel nonprobability sampling dengan jenis sampel jenuh. Data penelitian yang dikumpulkan dengan metode survei dan dianalisis dengan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement. Hasil lain yang dapat disimpulkan adalah bahwa variabel transformasi digital bukan merupakan variabel moderasi dalam hubungan antara variabel budaya organisasi dan variabel employee engagement. Variabel transformasi digital merupakan variabel independen (predictor) dalam hubungannya dengan employee engagement.
