    Pengaruh Pelatihan dan Penilaian Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di Kantor POS Medan

    Abstract
    This study aims to analyze how the influence of the independent variable (X) namely training and job appraisal on the dependent variable (Y) namely the performance of employees at the Medan Central Post Office. The form of research used in this research is quantitative research with an associative approach. Sampling was done through probability sampling technique and used 36 respondents who had attended training and job assessment as a sample. The primary data used in this study was obtained by distributing questionnaires directly to the employees of the Medan Central Post Office, while the secondary data was obtained through a literature study. The data analysis method used is validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the research conducted indicate that the Training variable (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y). For the Job Assessment variable (X2) also has an effect on Employee Performance (Y). For the variables of Training(X1) and Job Appraisal (X2) have a simultaneous effect on the dependent variable, namely Employee Performance (Y). The coefficient of determination test shows the relationship between training and job appraisal on employee performance is very close. The value of the coefficient of determination above shows that the training and job appraisal variables can explain the employee performance variable by 63.7% while the remaining 36.3% is influenced by other variables not explained in this study.
     
    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variabel bebas (X) yaitu pelatihan dan penilaian kerja terhadap variabel terikat (Y) yaitu kinerja karyawan pada Kantor Pos Medan. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui teknik probability sampling dan menggunakan 36 responden yang sudah pernah mengikuti pelatihan dan penilaian kerja sebagai sampel. Data primer yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner langsung kepada karyawan Kantor Pos Medan sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa variabel Pelatihan (X1) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y). Untuk variabel Penilaian Kerja (X2) juga berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y). Untuk variabel Pelatihan (X1) dan Penilaian Kerja (X2) berpengaruh simultan terhadap variabel terikat yaitu Kinerja Karyawan (Y). Uji koefisien determinasi menunjukan hubungan antara pelatihan dan penilaian kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan sangat erat. Nilai koefisien determinasi di atas menunjukan bahwa variabel pelatihan dan penilaian kerja dapat menjelaskan variabel kinerja karyawan sebesar 63,7 % sedangkan sisanya sebesar 36,3 % dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini.
