Analisis Hubungan Antar Tokoh Perempuan dalam Novel Raise The Red Lantern Karya Su Tong : Pendekatan Sosiologi Sastra

Abstract

This thesis entitled is "The Analysis of Relationships among female characters in Su Tong's novel Raise the red lantern: A literary sociology approach". This thesis describes how Sukacita, Mega, Karang and Teratai makes interraction each other in the family environment as Chen Zuoqian wives. The four wives of Chen Zuoqian interrogated their fellow wives to get Chen Zuoqian's attention. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the relationship between female characters in Su Tong's raise the red lantern novel. In this study, the author uses the interaction’s theory from George Simmel. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method. The relationship results between female characters in the Novel Raise the Red Lantern are positive relationships and negative relationships.

Skripsi ini berjudul “Analisis Hubungan antar tokoh perempuan dalam novel Raise the red lantern karya Su Tong : Pendekatan sosiologi sastra”. Skripsi ini memaparkan bagaimana Sukacita, Mega, Karang dan Teratai yang saling berinterkasi dalam lingkungan keluarga sebagai istri yang dipoligami oleh Chen Zuoqian. Keempat istri Chen Zuoqian melakukan ineraksi antar sesama istri untuk mendapatkan perhatian Chen Zuoqian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskrisikan dan menganalisis hubungan antar tokoh perempuan pada novel raise the red lantern karya Su Tong. Didalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan teori interaksi dari George Simmel. Metode yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriftif kualitatif. Hubungan antar tokoh perempuan dalam Novel Raise the Red Lantern ini menghasilkan bentuk hubungan positif dan hubungan Negatif.
