dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the role of stigma and self efficacy of the quality of life in people with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) who followed assistance in LSM X. The study involved 91 HIV-positive people. Data obtained through three scales namely quality of life scale, the scale of stigma and self efficacy scale. The results of multiple regressions analysis showed that the stigma and self efficacy has a significant role to the quality of life and contribute jointly to the quality of life of 24.4 % with a negative role of stigma of 13.3% and a positive role of self-efficacy of 16-2%. Test using stepwise method is known that the more dominant variable contribution to quality of life is self-efficacy. Quality of life, stigma and self-efficacy can be categorized and built by a number of domains. The quality of life of PLWHA in LSM X belonging to the category of being with the domain of the dominant is the physical domain, level of independence, environmental, and spirituality/religion/personal beliefs, while the psychological and social relationship domains belong to the category of medium. Besides the stigma of PLWHA in the LSM X classified as the concern with public attitude is high, while personalized stigma domains, disclosure concern, and negative self image is classified as moderate. Furthermore, self efficacy PLWHA in LSM X has a relatively high with a domain that gives the largest contribution in the domain of self efficacy are managing/adhering to medication, communication with health providers, and managing fatigue is high, while managing depression/mood and getting support from others moderate.en_US
dc.description.abstractTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peranan stigma dan self efficacy terhadap quality of life pada orang dengan HIV/AIDS (ODHA) yang mengikuti pendampingan di LSM X dengan melibatkan 91 ODHA. Data diperoleh melalui tiga skala yaitu skala quality of life, skala stigma dan skala self efficacy. Hasil analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa stigma dan self efficacy memiliki peranan yang significant terhadap quality of life sebesar 13.3 % dan peranan positif self efficacy sebesar16.2 . Pengujian dengan menggunakan metode stepwise ditemukan variabel yang lebih dominan memberikan kontribusi terhadap quality of life adalah self effcacy. Quality of life, stigma dan self eficacy dapat dikategorisasikan dan dibangun oleh sejumlah domain. Quality of life ODHA di LSM X torgolong kategori sedang dengan domain yang dominan adalah domain physical, level of independence, environmental, dan spirituality/religion/personal beliefs, sedangkan domain psychological dan social relationship tergolong kategori sedang. Selain itu stigma ODHA tergolong kategori sedang dengan domain yang memberikan sumbangan tertinggi adalah domain concern with public attitude, sedangkan domain personalized stigma, disclosure concern, dan negative self image tergolong kategori sedang. Selanjutnya self efficacy ODHA tergolong kategori tinggi dengan domain yang memberikan sumbangan terbesar padra self eficacy adalah domain managing/adhering to medication communication with health providers, dan managing fatigue, sedangkan managing depression mood dan getting suppport from others tergolong kategori sedang.en_US
