dc.description.abstract | The study of the performance evaluation of low pressure evaporator 21-22 of the combined cycle power plant block II Belawan sector conducted from april 2005 to desember 2005 showed that the higest performance of the LP evaporator in kilo watt was reached in june 2005, at the operational condition of 80%, 2 gas turbine (GT) produce energy of 198,20 KW while the effective performance of LP evaporator in the heat recovery steam generator 21 (HRSG 21 ) unit was 86,02 % and the lowest performance was also in june during the base load operation condition when energy produced was only 81,83 KW while the effective performance of LP evaporator 34,29 %. The result of this study shows that steam quality does not have any relationship to steam temperature released from LP evaporator. The damage occurrege in LP evaporato 21-22 was erosion resulted from the turbulence happened in the pipi called flow accelerated corrosion (FAC) which was found out by analyzing the visual form of damage, the pattern of operation ( in normal operation, the pattern of stream is in the form of turbulence), and wether or not the result of material test and steam quality is still in accordance with standard specification. | en_US |
