Analisis Struktur Ekonomi dan Pengembangan Sektor Unggulan Kabupaten Deli Serdang di Sumatera Utara

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine regional economic and leading sectors in Deli Serdang Regency as information object and economic development plan. Secondary data is carried out with time series of 2012-2016 on Gross Domestic Product in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatera. Klassen Typology, Location Quotient and Shift Share are deployed to analyze the data. The results of SWOT analysis demonstrate that there are 3 strong or basic sectors, namely gas and electrical supply sector, transportation and warehouse sector, accommodation and food & beverages supply sector. Meanwhile, there are threat or non-basic sectors, namelyforest agricultural andfishery sector, and water supply, waste processing and recycle sectors.
