Pengukuran Kadar Dissolve Oxygen (DO) dan Biologycal Oxygen Demand (BOD) Pada Air Limbah dan Air Permukaan dengan Metode Titrimetri

Abstract

An analysis has been carried out to determine the levels of Dissolve Oxygen (DO) and Biochemical Oxygen Deman (BOD) in wastewater and surface water at PT. Shafera Enviro Laboratory. To determine the DO and BOD levels, a Winkler bottle was prepared, to determine the DO0 and DO5 values, which were incubated for 5 days. Determination of DO and BOD levels using the titrimetric method so that in wastewater with sample 01 and sample 01 duplo obtained BOD levels of 183.6 mg/L, with sample 02 and sample 02 duplo obtained and BOD levels of 82.6 mg/L. According to the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number P.68/Menlhk/Setjen/Kum.1/8/2016 the BOD levels obtained do not meet quality standards so they are not suitable for disposal to the environment. The surface water sample with sample 03 and sample 03 duplo obtained DO levels of 2.1 mg/L and BOD levels of 6.3 mg/L, with sample 04 and sample 04 duplo obtained DO levels of 2.3 mg/L and BOD levels as much as 7.1 mg/L. based on the Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 22 of 2021 concerning the organizers of environmental protection and management for class 2 river water and the like, samples 03 and 03 duplo did not meet the DO and BOD quality standards and samples 04 and 04 duplo did not meet the DO quality standard requirements. and BOD.
