Abstract

Functional capacity in patients with coronary heart disease is very important on a cardiac rehabilitation program to determine an exercise program, evaluating the exercise test results and determines the patient's prognosis. Several studies showed influence of systolic and diastolic function in determining the functional capacity , but some studies failed to show a significant relationship, Tei index as a global ventricular function has not been widely studied in predicting functional capacity. This study aims to know wether Tei Index can be used to predict functional capacity patients with coronary heart disease.
