Elevation of creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) after percutaneous coronary
intervention (PCI) is common and has been shown to be associated with
increasing risk of mortality. Periprocedural myonecrosis often found following PCI. Aim of this study is to compare the increasment of CK-MB after PCI with 30 days mortality in Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) patients. The design of the study was prospective cohort analytic that assess the association between increased CK-MB after PCI with 30 days mortality, and also to compare variables that influencing elevation of CK-MB after procedure.
