Perbandingan Acromio Axillo Suprasternal Notch Index dengan Tes Mallampati dalam Prediksi Sulit Intubasi di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Haji Adam Malik Medan

Abstract

Background and objective: Mallampati scoring system is still used as a predictor on difficult intubation in patients who undergoing elective surgery with general anesthesia intubation, but it is still considered less appropriate. The AASI (Acromio Axillo Suprastemal notch lndex) score performed by different technique, lower cost and practical. This study means to acquire possible alternative for disabled patient during mallampati examination but still has good accuracy as a predictor of difficult intubation in patients who will undergo general anesthesia intubation in COT of Haji Adam Malik Hospital Medan.
