dc.description.abstract | Performance is the result of work related to the company’s goals, such as, quality, efficiency, and other criteria in the activities. Competition among companies in the globalization era gets tighter that the human resources possessed are requested to be proactive to develop themselves maximally. The objective employee recruitment based on the qualifications is one of the ways to recruit the qualified human resources. They are then developed through the continuous scheduled training and placed in the proper position based on their ability, experience, and educational backgrounds.
The research aims to find out and analyze the influence of recruitment, training, and placement on the employees’ performance at PT. Astra International,Tbk Toyota AUTO 2000 Branch of SM. Raja, Medan. Using Slovin’s formula, 59 employees are selected as the samples out of 145 employees. Descriptive method is used to analyze the data and multiple linier regressions is used to calculate the coefficient regression in order to find out to what extent the variables of recruitment, training, and placement influence the employees’ performance.
The result shows that simultaneously recruitment, training, and placement influence positively and significantly on the employees’ performance. Partially, that variables of recruitment, training, and placement influence positively and significantly, but variable of training more dominantly influences the employees’ performance. | en_US |
