Faktor Risiko terjadinya Pre-Eklamsi pada Ibu Hamil yang Dirujuk ke Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh

Abstract

Pre-eclampsia is a disease with its typical signs such as hypertension, edema and proteinuria occured due to pregnancy. There were 105 cases of pre-eclampsia of 2.105 pregnant women (4.9%) from the data of dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital Banda Aceh in 2013. The purpose of this study was to find out the risk factors (parity, mother’s age, gemelli, hypertension, antenatal care and culture) of the incidence of pre-eclampsia referred dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital Banda Aceh. This is case-control design. The population of its case group was all of the pregnant women suffering from pre-eclampsia and control group was all of the pregnant women who were not suffering from pre-eclampsia. The samples for this study were 105 patients for case group and 105 patients for control group. The data obtained using chi-square and logistic regression tests. The result of Chi-square test showed that the mother’s age (OR = 3.50; 95% CI 1.90-6.46), hypertension (OR = 23.55; 95% CI 11.16-49.70) and antenatal care (OR = 4.33; 95% CI 2.41-7.79) had a relationship with the incidence of pre-eclampsia. The result of multiple logistic regression tests showed that the most influencing variable on the incidence of pre-eclampsia was hypertension with OR = 26.80; 95% CI 11.39-63.07 in which the mothers with pre-eclampsia who delivered their babies had a chance to experience the hypertension for 26.8 times compared to the mothers without pre-eclampsia who delivered their babies. The management of dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital Banda Aceh is suggested to be able to run promotive and preventive attempts through the improvement of Antenatal Care by applying a standard, to check the blood pressure at least once a month, and to avoid consuming the foods at risk of hypertension.
