The design and testing of the pulleys on the salacca seed grinder (salacca zalacca) burr mill type aims to design, manufacture, test the pulleys, and perform economical and ergonomic calculations on the performance of the salacca zalacca (Salacca zalacca) burr mill type. This study uses the RAL method (Completely Randomized Design) the size of the designed pulleys is 3.8. 4.8 and 7.04 inches. The parameters studied were the working capacity of the tool, economic analysis and ergonomic analysis. The results showed that the largest effective capacity of the tool was found in the treatment of the 7.04 inch diameter puli, which was 31.58 kg/hour and the lowest effective capacity of the tool was found in the treatment of the 3.8 inch diameter pulleys, which was 10.9 kg/hour. In the economic analysis, the basic cost of the salak seed grinder is Rp. 803.71/kg. at the break event point (BEP) obtained 388.7 kg/year, the value of net present value (NPV) 6.75% of Rp. 424,028,375/year, and for the internal rate of return (IRR) of 58.63%, it means that if it is more than that, it will suffer a loss. In the ergonomic aspect using ergofellow software which in the end result that there is a need for further development of the tool.
