Abstract

It is very important to pay attention to the growth and development of babies to realize superior human resources. Therefore, one thing that needs to be considered is the baby's weight. The development and growth at that time, will determine the success or failure of the baby's growth and development in the next period. This study uses data collection analysis techniques by means of observations and surveys. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the ideal baby weight using the binary logistic regression method. Based on the results of this study, it is known that the factors that influence the ideal baby weight at the posyandu melati VII Posyandu and the posyandu melati XII in the VII and XI neighborhoods of Medan Tenggara Village, Medan Denai District, Medan City, are exclusive breastfeeding for infants
