Penerapan Regresi Linear Berganda terhadap Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Indeks Pmebangunan Manusia Kota Tebing Tinggi

Abstract

The human development index is an indicator used by local government to measure the level of development achievement. The research purpose to find out the relation between school year expectations, real per capita expenditure, total population, and number of poor people on the human development index of Tebing Tinggi city. The variables used in this study consisted of four independent variables, namely school year expextation, real per capita expenditure, total population, and number of poor people. And the dependent vaiable used is the human development index. The method used in this research is multiple linear regression. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to create an equation that can estimate the value of dependent variable and to determine whether there is a significant effect between the independent variable and the dependent variable. Based on the result of the analysis multiple linear regression model was optainedat a significant level of 5%, then there is a significant relationship between school year expectation, real per capita expenditure, population, and number of poor people on the human development index of Tebing Tinggi city
